We had a lovely brunch and the staff were so obliging , it was kept within the offer price even though we made changes to the plate offered . The coffee was the best I've tasted in the Uk ( no exaggeration) lovely restaurant, superb staff
Lovely place to enjoy a classic birthday lunch. Attentive and professional service, food delicious (English asparagus and their Hollandaise sauce to die for!). Wine good, too. No hassle, no rush and a very pleasant way to while away a couple of hours. Will be going back soon!
My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and everything was delicious. The staff was very nice and overall we had a lovely dinner. Definitely recommend it!!
A decent meal, well presented. Towards the end of the meal I did feel a little pressured to leave, even though the table reservation was for 1.5 hours, and it had been little over an hour. It wasn't enough to spoil the evening though, particularly as I was well aware it was a Saturday night and the place was filling up

Excellent quality for a chain and this particular branch is, I've been reliably informed, appreciably better managed than some of the others.
Prices are reasonable as the quality is high but the portions are small.
Staff are friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and service is reasonably quick for what was a busy time.
The tables are well spaced so that even when it's busy is doesn't feel crowded. Although the acoustics are not particularly good and conversation can be an effort.
This is a great place, No1 is the people. They are a really great asset to the business and exceptional people. The food and wine are excellent. Well worth the visit!

Lovely evening meal with my family. It is one of my favourite restaurants in Bishops Stortford and it's very child friendly. Great to see the kids activity envelopes back and updated!
Been coming to Cote since moving to Stortford in 2018. It is a good place to have meetings 1:1 and/or with much larger groups; they are very accommodating. The coffee and food are of a quality standard, fresh ingredients and several varied options to select from. At our most recent visit, we opted to take advantage of the beautiful evening and sit in the back garden and it was unfortunate when my son noted the two tables next to us were smoking cigarettes and the smoke was wafting over to our table. He was bothered by the second hand smoke, which meant we took our leave not long after.

This is my 3rd visit this year. I had a great experience with my friend on Wednesday evening (26th April), it was a celebratory meal for my new job so I wanted it to be special, and it didn’t disappoint! The waiter was amazing, and the food matched! My friend and I shared the Camembert, I followed that with the steak frites and the chocolate and salted caramel tart. All of which were 10/10. I will definitely be visiting again. Thank you.

Nice spot atmosphere feels premium, food always nice portions are smaller than other places however that's not a bad thing I guess.
