Had a fabulous meal at Shadhona in Bishop's Stortford. I tried the salmon shashlik for the first time and it did not disappoint. Good atmosphere and friendly staff made it an enjoyable evening. Expect to pay around £20 with a drink. Best to book at weekends as it can get busy.
I have ordered Chicken and Lamb biriyani. The portion is good enough for an adult. The taste is nice. You can adjust the spice according to your taste while ordering. Overall, the service is good. The people who serves are very cordial.
We had our staff meal here last night and food and service was excellent. We had such a lovely evening and all really enjoyed our food. I highly recommend the Vegetarian Thali so you can try lots of little bits and the Chicken Tikka Masala was definitely a favourite around the table. We will be back

Second visit to Shadona, food was still good, took a while to arrive, restaurant was not that busy, staff weren't as attentive as previous visit. There was a fly in the onion salad that came with poppadoms, and when the bill came, it was 50% more expensive than previous visit - same number of diners
I ordered a takeaway from here today - it was the best curry I have had in my life. Friendly staff who listened to exactly what I was after - and generous portion sizes too. The masala sauce was just delicious - thank you! Very good value too.
