Took the hubby to Skew for a birthday treat. Beautiful fresh food and amazing service. Waiting staff friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. Looking to book again with friends in the coming week.

I was a little worried that on one of the hottest Sundays so far and being a Bank Holiday weekend that our table of 18 might be a bit too much for the restaurant? How wrong I was, we were the difficult ones, we were looked after so well, the manager was so attentive and helped us enjoy a very special occasion! All of our friends commented on the delicious food and the friendliness of the staff - thank you Skew for a brilliant and unforgettable evening xx

OMG! What can I say? I’ve lived in the area for 15 years and this restaurant is simply the BEST restaurant around.. (by a very long way I might add!)
The food is to die for. The cocktails are beautiful. The staff are very polite and attentive. The decor is tasteful and relaxing. The music?... Well, I just loved every song that came on! You can stay downstairs for a meal, or wander up to the balcony area and cocktail bar for drinks and a chat or even for a little boogie if you fancy. They even have a very organised and numbered cloakroom facility!
I feel every little detail has been thought of here. This place ticks EVERY - SINGLE - BOX in my eyes. My new favourite place. Just wished I’d visited sooner!

Even now in winter if you are around Bishop's, you need to visit this unique place. Is not a typical Turkish restaurant. It is such a modern style, with Turkish flavours. Food absolutely delicious, Staff very friendly and helpful if you don't have a clue of Turkish diet. A great selection of international wines to choose. We will definitely recommend this restaurant and we will repeat again.
Food was superb, service very attentive and beautiful interior. Could not fault, would highly recommend and would absolutely return to try the rest of the menu!!
The food was absolutely delicious especially the desserts. The price is kind of expensive but the food is worth the price. The service and the staff are great and kind, always there then you need anything. I enjoyed my meal.

The atmosphere was pleasant and warm. The customer service of the team were attentive and friendly, it was very enduring when they brought out a special cake for our anniversary! They put so much effort in making the night special!
Had a fantastic time here. Came with family and we all loved it. Food was excellent and service was really welcoming, in particular from Jupiter. Highly recommended this place and will be going back again.
Food, service and ambience is always first class at Skew. It's our go to restaurant for a fantastic meal. The baked prawn starter and scallops for main are incredible. I'm so happy they now have sushi too.
What a beautiful restaurant with an amazing setting and equally amazing food. Predominantly Turkish and Mediterranean but what makes it special is the massive seafood options on the menu, including a huge platter for two which was to die for. What sets this place over everywhere else though is the deliciously fresh oysters. The service was very attentive and friendly and we will definitely be back if not for the oysters alone.
Best roast beef what i had after long time and was still available after 5pm really appreciated.
It was expensive but to be honest it was well worth it, everything we had was delicious, especially the main, which was the hot seafood platter for 2.
Everyone we encountered was so friendly, helpful and accomodating.
The place was clean and beautifully decorated.

Had been there twice, every time I went there my first impression was staffs “lack of smile” and a bit “cold”, though they tried to keep a “polite” attitude, as a result of that, atmosphere is a bit uncomfortable. I still give it a 4 stars rating because the food is quite delicious and it gives a choice of fine dining in the town.
Skew is very vibrant and lively restaurant to visit in Bishops Stortford. It has that London style feel, with open plan and high roof ceiling and amazing interior. Each time we visit it for lunch or dinner, it’s always perfect. Staff is very friendly and Turkish food is just amazing.
If you want to dine big style, this is the place! We visited as part of our Golden Wedding Anniversary on 2nd September and were blown away by the quality of the place, the service and the food. The staff were courteous, attentive and really made the evening a quality experience. I thoroughly recommend a visit.
Had a beef and chicken roast . The meat and vegetables was delicious, soft , beautifully cooked. 😋.. ( Roasties let it down a bit!) However, would definitely come again.

We had a lovely lunch at Skew today. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and has a great atmosphere. The Beyti Kebab was delicious!
Really liked ambiance and very attentive service from the waiters.
Only detraction would be that the exterior menu didn't match the interior one so the dessert I wanted wasn't an option; and the prices of the desserts had all gone up significantly since the exterior menu had been updated.

Oysters , lobster, crab, scallops, mussels, prawns .... omg omg... what delicious food... so glad to have chosen date night to be there.. very friendly team looked after us..
Music didn't fit the mood and the dinning, but was not load so just faded in the background..
There is parking close by in the multistorey car park.. throw of a stone distance away...
