Fantastic place, I arrived late Sunday afternoon but was made to feel most welcome, and very well looked after.
I only wanted a coffee but found the best customer service in North Wales. The coffee was also great and the desserts on display were really tempting.
Lovely tea room with gorgeous gardens to roam about in. Lovely homemade cake & scones.
If you are a regular at your standard cut out and paste services, this place will baffle you. I don't think I'll find another tea rooms quite like this one, and that's a good thing because it's always nice to have a unique experience!
From the mannequin with the ammunition strap to the garden area where we could let the dog roam it was a unique place to enjoy some tea, and the portions of tea and coffee we're immense!
The owner was lovely, thank you for the cake!
We decided to cycle from Ludlow to the Welsh border in the pouring rain. Thank Heavens for the Heath Tea Room! Delicious cake, lovely coffee in an eclectic warm atmosphere. The owner is lovely and it’s the best value you can find anywhere. It’s worth going out of your way just go try it ... so should have a Michelin Star 😊
The charming and friendly lady owner provided a sumptuous spread of cakes, tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches for our large group of cyclists, which we enjoyed outside in the recently landscaped garden. We had advised her in advance of our likely arrival time.
This tea room was very accommodating to two bikers who just stopped for a cuppa.
Tea ( in proper china cups) and scones by the duck pond made a very welcome change from the usual tea stops. Staff are really friendly and we will definitely stop here again next time we are near.
Popped in today for a cuppa a d had the best cheese salad sat its ever. Great beetroot chutney. Very friendly lady. A very enjoyable experience. Thank you we will be back. Mo and Allen.
I stumbled over the tea rooms on the 25th of November while checking out a route for a motorbike ride, the painted sign on the roof is visible for about a mile from the East side. The car park is small and if you are on two wheels a puck is advised as it is a bit soft for a sidestand.
The tea room itself is like granny's best room, lots of old stuff and the crockery is a lot posher than you will find in any old cafe. I wasn't too hungry so went for the soss sarnie and what seemed like enough coffee to if not actually sink a boat at least have it sitting lower in the water.
The sausages were "proper butcher" not supermarket and I had a good chat to Jennifer and Richard as I hit the mid-morning lull and was the only customer. Jennifer is keen on wildlife and used to run a nature park and she is working on the surrounding ground to make it more attractive to beasties and birds. There is an area set aside for camping and a holiday let is being planned for 2019.
The tea rooms [they are deserving of this name rather than cafe] are well worth a visit if you are passing, and traveling a bit out of your way if you are not. Although small, in the summer the outside seating will be available and it is one of those rare establishments that allows dogs inside.
Fantastic place to visit
Very warm welcome
Food was brilliant
Jennifer let us camp in the garden for the weekend and made sure we were fed well
