I recently visited The Chitch pub located in Bishops Tawton village and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff. The highlight of my visit, however, was the food.

Lovely place, such a great customer service, staff is very welcoming and attentive. Food was lovely, large portions. A place to come back.

Sunday roast was very good, tender roast beef and pork. Good portion sizes with fair prices (around £15).

Absolutely AMAZING, portions huge, hubby had mixed roast & I had veggie option. Proper carvings of meat & a huge selection of freshly cooked veg. Extra gravy too :)
Staff were lovely & very helpful. Found us a quiet area for our very nervous rescue dog.

Delicious Sunday roast, the beef was very tender. Hate to end on a negative, I wasn’t able to savour the delicious delights as the food was just warm on arrival. Could’ve been hotter then we’re talking 5*!
