Fabulous apartment with kitchen and balcony. Very peaceful village. Stayed there for Ripon races. Approx £14 for taxi each way. Save that by self-catering. Great beer in pub. Great hosts.
Three of us had a meal here on Easter Saturday.
The place was busy but service from the two young waiters was very good.
All our meals were well presented and very good.
All the dishes were reasonably priced.

Everything about the Masons Arms is perfect. It’s a warm and welcoming village pub, with a wonderful staff and great fish and chips.

Stopped here for one night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely old pub and nicely decorated. Only has 3 rooms, very clean and has everything you need. Comfortable beds. Great food and a lively atmosphere in the evenings and enjoyed by the locals.

Lovely old fashioned pub with real ale and in a lovely setting across the road from a beautiful trickling river . Food was excellent and reasonably priced as was the beer . Well worth a visit .
Great food breaded brie first class however the garlic mushrooms were not. Appears to have had too much lemon plus mushrooms were unpleasant in taste. We informed the young girl waitress yet nothing came of it. Drinks and service were ideal behind the bar.
I booked an overnight stay whilst on business and found the price to be around the same as staying in a soulless hotel chain. The room was compact but beautifully presented and immaculately clean.

Had a lovely stay in room 3 at The Masons Arms. Reasonably priced, comfy bed, essentials such as shower gel and towels provided. The room was also very clean. It's just what you need for one night away! Great for a change of scenery. Food was also very nice and good selection of drinks.
