Five stars first to this restaurant being one of the rare ones opening on a Sunday (yes Bishop Auckland is so dead on a Sunday!!!). The front of the shop may not look appealing but the food is not your ordinary kebab shop. It's more Nandos style chicken. So yes I think eating in is better than takea
I'm reviewing the food from delivery order. It was an amazing surprise. I ate the burger, my wife the pork on a roll and they were super delicious. Obviously gonna repeat soon but next wanna try dine in.
I ordered via JustEat, it's really decent chicken, coleslaw and chips are excellent too. Really good value for money given the price of chicken these days. Fast delivery too.
This place is amazing!! I rarely try this sort of takeaway but wow. Best takeaway I've been to. Have tried lots of different things on the menu and enjoyed them all but...... I'm sorry nandos I won't be visiting you anytime soon😂

Wonderfully tasty 😊 arrived safely, timely hot and fresh! Small mix up with a side item 🤔 but with a quick call their friendly customer service 🌟 they sorted it out and had it delivered straight away 👍 will definitely be ordering here again
Update: I recently ordered food for delivery and it was absolutely delicious, the food was delivered quickly despite nearby roadworks. I recently dined in the restaurant with friends. The staff were lovely, allowing us to stay past closing as we’d arrived quite late. The food was absolutely deliciou

First time at hot rooster. Wow!!!!! I never review anything.but food tonight was Fabulous. We had prego ciabatta with cheese and garlic. Hot butterfly chicken platter with spicy rice and salad and a portion of skin on Fry's. All food piping hot and ultra yummy.will defo be back 😋😁

First time at The Hot Rooster and definitely not the last. The food was fantastic. We had the Platters for one and all was cooked to perfection. Quick delivery and amazing food!
Have used them a number of times and has always been consistently good. Best place to get chicken in town, just wish they were open more often. Having a night off is simply not allowed!! :)
