A great breakfast was freshly cooked and the bacon rolls were also lovely. Coffee was very nice.👌 Will definitely visit again when in the area. The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful
Popped in for lunch this afternoon. Incredible value for money, I had the pie, chips and mushy peas (the pie & chips were homemade) and my husband went for the full English breakfast which was huge. This, along with a couple of cans of juice cost just over £13. The service was warm and friendly and
I had a full English breakfast, what a treat the food was lovely. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The prices were very reasonable! There was a steady flow of customers all seemed pleased with what they had eaten. Well worth a visit!
Great Cafe with good wholesome food; best bacon sandwich I've had for a long time. Sam and his wife who run the place are very friendly with a great sense of humour. The place is in a building with alot of history as shown by the Bishop Auckland's Heritage Plaque on the exterior wall.
Beautiful home cooked food for reasonable price
The place to go for a nice cuppa and a bite to eat. Forget about your Starbucks, Costas etc. Nice family run café

Visiting relatives up north. Found cafe by accident. Great food, excellent value. Very clean. Staff very friendly.👍🏻
This cafe has been trading in Bishop Auckland for years. It's a family run business. Very friendly. Home cooking and cosy.
Started a job in Toronto, was pointed in wrong direction to a cafe, saw Sams sign, never been anywhere else since, made to feel welcome as soon as you go through the door, good friendly banter, officially my GoTo place when im in the area, very good prices
