I always like Greggs. It's great value for money; even better still if you have the app (my thoughts below).
This store is staffed by friendly people. They also provide a friendly service and you are always greeted with a smile.
Sometimes it's hard to get a table so often find takeaway is my only option. That said Greggs tend to keep rennovating their stores with no seats at all; so it looks like they are moving towards being takeaway only; also reflected in the decision to no longer use anything but paper cups and bags.
The app.. yes I think the app sweetens the deal even more however you would have to buy at least nine coffees or pies to get a freebie.

I visited twice in two days for a Sausage Bean and Cheese Melt, piping hot and quickly served as you expect from the chain. Though I do consider that it is becoming expensive compared to what it offered thirty years ago, in it's defense the business has evolved and has a much wider selection on offer to the customer. I will no doubt call in again at some point.

One of the largest Greggs stores I regularly use and its good, staff are friendly and polite. Usually quite a large and good variety of food and drinks on offer with the addition of the small seating area for a quick coffee. Probably one of the reasons the Newgate centre is still open is because of this store and Wilko.
Fantastic customer service. Food was a delight as always. The kind lady warned me about my sausage being hot ;). Only marked down a star because selection of food was lacking compared to other stores I have visited.

Great little Greggs, the staff are always friendly, will happily tell you when the next warm ones are coming out! however that is if they are not already warm! 9 times out of 10 when i have been in there they are nice warm and crispy just how they should be! Highly recommend if you are in or around bishop and you fancy a Greggs you head here.
Always happy with the fresh food
Didn't seem to be much choice on a Sunday afternoon. I get that wastage can be a problem, but any left over can surely be donated to a shelter or people in need. Huge queue, and super slow service. Would be 3 stars, but hey, tasty food.
Always love the different pasties and bakes, even with a variety of treats and snacks for afterwards. Haven't been in a while, so don't know how it runs during covid but the food overall is great. 10/10
Great sandwiches. Good pastries and cakes. More hot food and coffee options often mean a long waiting time and queue if all you are wanting is a takeaway sandwich

Can get busy at lunch hours but they provide fast and friendly service
I love the Sausage Rolls from here absolutely beautiful to eat every time way better than any other place I like to go to for something in beautiful golden pastry
