This is my go to local place for a curry. The food is always fantastic, and I always eat too much it smells and tastes that good. Nicely spiced. Not too hot, for me anyway! Wide range of dishes to choose from as well. You have to give it a try.
Ah a stunning meal. Friendly and efficient staff, great choice of food and extremely tasty. We ordered from the early bird (pre- 7pm menu) two courses about £13. We had poppadoms with dips as an appetiser followed by chicken tikka and onion bajee. For mains we had mushroom rice, garlic naan breaf,
Called in for a meal prior to attending the Kynren event. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff especially our waitress who I believe was called Michelle, what a difference a warm welcome makes! The food was very good. All in all a most pleasant experience.
We went here as our normal Indian was closed.
Nice food and reasonably priced.
Couldn’t fault anything other than the sauces were not as thick as we like but I think that’s personal preference not a problem as was still very tasty.
We like to go to spice lounge generally but would happily come here
Excellent food and reasonably priced. Went tonight with a friend, waitress showed us a table, brought our drinks and took our order.what came to our table was excellent, nicely presented and very tasty. Staff very attentive but not pushy. Highly recommended this restaurant.🤗
My opinions of Saffron were very mixed. The food was very reasonable at about £8 per curry. The whole meal of poppadoms, pickles, two currys, rice and naan came to under £50, which was great. The food itself was very tasty but perhaps looked a little artificial with very vibrant reds. My lamb curry
Read the previous reviews and decided to give the restaurant a try. Quite simply the positive posts are correct. The staff were polite and attentive. The food was well executed and dished out efficiently. All four of us enjoyed the meal and there were no negative comments. We ate on a Friday pre Ken
Amazing "Valentine Meal" ..an excuse to go out ...never been out on Valentine's for years ..been married 33 years. Excellent food..fantastic staff..and even a lovely red rose from the manager. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will be back again ❤❤❤
Absolutely first class cuisine. Very friendly staff, and the restaurant has a very nice feel to it. The best Indian meals, that we've ever had.
Ordered as take out..it was ready when they said it would be and lots of extras in the bags which we didn't order but more importantly didn't pay for. Lots of meat and sauce ..all in all, a good first time for me.

Highly recommend chicken tikka starter and all of the mains.
Be wary, that their wi-fi can go down meaning credit cards are incapable of being used! This means an extra trip to the hole-in-wall.
