Lovely deep steak pie literally crammed with chunks of beef. Tasty gravy home made gravy. Plenty of fresh veg - cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, broccoli. Loads of roasties/chips again home made. Brilliant Sunday lunch for 4. Fast service good food and generous helpings. The staff were friendly and helpful. Best to ring ahead and book a table because it is popular.

Nice village pub. Booked for family of 5 plus dog. Sunday dinner was great value at less than £10. Plenty of fresh vegetables, homemade Yorkshire puddings, very tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Cannot rate this pub enough, we stayed 20 minutes away and decided to try as it had good ratings, boy it did not disappoint, the two ladies that served us (Dionne and sorry didn’t catch the other ladies name) were so welcoming, the food was amazing beyond belief and the price, well would of been hap
good service and even better food! i came here from scotland with my family and one of my friends and we were staying at an airbnb down the road. it’s a pretty small pub but it’s very comfortable and the overall vibe is great! i definitely recommend coming here.
Good service very quick lovely atmosphere
Lovely village pub serving good food at sensible prices, mind you my mixed grill was too much for me to eat! The garlic bread is awesome. Lovely relaxed bar area with nice beer and a few good whiskies to choose from Nice young people serving too. We will be back!
Great service, quality food, excellent prices and very helpful staff. Certainly the best pub we have been to and we look forward to our next visit.
