Been looking for a good Chinese since moving into the area in January. Gave lotus a try tonight and loved it. Excellent service over the phone when ordering and on the doorstep from the driver and food was lovely. Loads of meat and piping hot when it arrived. Definitely be using again.
I've tried many Chinese restaurants as have my family. Family don't live round here but we've converted them, every time they visit they want Chinese from Lotus. Delicious!
I ordered a sharing box last night and it did not disappoint! You definitely get your moneys worth and the food it's self was delicious. The member of staff I spoke to on the phone was very polite and helpful she actually recommend the sharing box and am so glad she did. Would definitely recommend and I will be order from here again.
First time using this Chinese and I must say the food is lovely. We are from consett so it was half an hour drive then the same back but it was well worth it.

Been tonite and got the sharing box well worth the money .staff friendly esp girl that was serving .the food was hot and delicious 😋 be worth getting this shari g box still loads left say more for three or four people ..Well done
First time using this takeaway as new to the area......couldn't fault both meals ordered. And I am quite particular about food.
It arrived within 30 mins, and we are a 10/15 minute drive away.
Lovely and hot, very tasty and will use them again.
Ordered a take away from there last night couldn't fault it, came within half an hour of ordering, my wife and I throughly enjoyed it would recommend.
Great food.. ready for collection spot on time.. very reasonably priced.. would of gave five stars if my fried rice wasn't missing.. delicious though thank you

Stayed at hot tub hideaway, orderd a takeaway from here it was absolutely beautiful the best Chinese weve had its a pitty we don't live near here because we would definitely order from here. I would recomend to everyone..
Excellent quality food. But the functional skills of one of the staff is not good. Every time I order and she takes the order. The order is never right. This should be resolved
Always had lovely food from here but tonight was not nice i ordered house special hong kong style sweet nd sour which i gt a normal sweet nd sour which all went in bin as was nt nice at all
