Went for Sunday lunch today, after Andrew took it back over, and the food and service was really good!
Nicely done refurbishment but too quiet, this pub deserves customers.

It may not have the up to date decor of some other restaurants but don't let that put you off. The food is of a high standard and tasted great and the prices are very reasonable, especially the daily specials which were £11.95 for two meals. The staff are very friendly and helpful. First time here, the staff were very nice and friendly. I saw on the door 5 stars for food hygiene, (this is important to me). I was here on steak night so went for that. Great price on that as well.
The chef knows how to cook great steak, the trimmings that went with it were also done excellent.

Lovely Sunday dinner as usual. Shame they had no gammon on. My 9yo was gutted. But she ended up getting turkey from Steph. Which was fine. Friendly staff as always.
Best value I have ever experienced . £5.25 for a 2 course meal. Beef just melts in your mouth, absolutely gorgeous. Lots of elderly folk eating in there, working in the social care field !!! Just Fantastic !!!!
Had four meals delivered tonight and got to say exceeded expectations. Big portions, well cooked and tasty. Under the current climes well worth it, thanks to all of the staff. Highly recommended
Ordered 4 dinners and desserts here to our home and they are amazing, the food is lovely, great portions, the staff are friendly. Couldnt ask for better. Id go as far to say its one of the best Ive dinner Ive ever had. Wouldnt recommend anywhere else
Sunday lunch delivered- absolutely delicious. So customer friendly from ordering over the phone to delivery to the door. It was a special occasion for us and it made our day. Thanks to everyone.

Always good. Dad had dementia. They were kind and patient. Only place I would take him to. Never needed an explanation. Just where kind. Can't fault any member of staff. Or management. Think your brilliant.
