1st visit yesterday with partner and family members. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Locals chatted with us and made us feel welcome. We'll definitely be back. Has more of a traditional pub feel which has charm.

Very cozy drinking pub. Plenty of seating and a good pool table that doesn't cost the earth.

Nice pub. Very busy when I went. Lovely atmosphere. Nice and warm which was good as it was horrible weather outside. Looking forward to visiting again. The pub was all decorated ready for St Patrick's day.

It was my first time and I felt at home. Beer was nicely looked after and some of the locals were welcoming and interacted.

Nice busy friendly pub, they have 4 hand pulls but only 3 were in use which is not unusual these days. The beer I had was very well kept.
Sat outside on a lovely sunny day , nice surroundings and good atmosphere. Very good prices on drinks. Nice traditional British pub , nicely decorated inside, and lots of parking for vehicles.

i usually pop in before i visit the dentist for a bit of dutch courage. nice pub, beer is good. don't understand this hat business, it's polite to remove your hat if you go in anyone's premises.
Lovely cosy place, plenty of atmosphere but slightly dated. 6 wonderful handpulled ales and a good variety of other drinks. A nice spruce up would make this a wonderful pub and a few more tables.
A great pub with a large selection of cask ales and spirits but no food, the building is old but well appointed and has a great atmosphere, there is a large TV in a small games section and a lounge and pool room, the landlord is friendly but will not tolerate swearing or overly rowdy behavior and there is a total ban on hats/caps or hoods of any kind, no exceptions! as there is CCTV for customer safety, CAMRA members get a discount on beer if they show their card,well worth a visit.Update, this pub has now closed down.
Top class pub,,, you will not be disappointed.
Also its very clean, in fact it's spotless.
