I've been here 3 times now. Overall food is great and I do enjoy the changing menu but the restaurant feels slightly cramped as the chairs and tables are too close together. I do think soft furnishing will help with the atmosphere and noise because it can be a bit loud at times. Personally I loved the pumpkin Gnocchi from this menu but didn't love the orecchiette. Their focaccia is always great.

Food is spot on and service and ambience light, modern and very friendly. we chose 3 starters between the 2 of us - the focaccia is outstanding, english burrata super creamy balanced against the lamb salami. We had 4 main courses - the standout dish here was the chicken but all were delicious. Fantastic meal (felt like being on holiday) and great value for money. We'll be back!!!

I had a lovely meal at Trentina from start to finish! The staff were so friendly and attentive. I ordered the bruschetta to start, which was SO ridiculously fresh and delicious. The artichoke pasta dish was amazing- I was doing little happy dances while eating it. Finished it off with an affogato soft serve ice cream which was the perfect end to the meal. Highly highly recommend!!

Arrabbiata sauce is unreal. the staff and chefs are charming. Lovely little spot, interior could be better decorated to add more character to the restaurant and make it more memorable. Lovely artwork on the walls, the white ragu was lovely too. Small but pleasant wine selection and went well with the food. I'd recommend booking a table as it's usually filled up.

Visited for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. Food, drinks and service are absolutely at the top of their game. Prices were really reasonable and there’s an option for everyone - depending on budget - whether it’s a bite to eat or a three course meal. From the moment we walked in, our experience was fab. We were greeted with a smile by Gabby who explained the menu to us and took our order. Max served our meals and happily chatted away to us - checking everything was okay and making sure we didn’t need anything else. A big thanks to Rob who made the drinks - I would recommend the cocktails and they were reasonably priced too. You can tell that everyone who works here has tasted and enjoyed the food - something we feel is really important if you’re going to offer suggestions and advice to your customers. We will absolutely be back! Thank you for such a lovely experience.

The food here is just a work of art! Great service we was made to feel very welcome and put at ease with full explanation of the menu. Nice short menu with good prices and the portions are very generous too. Restaurant is a little shabby chic and looks unfinished but all forgiven as I think the food trumps everything here.

A great little find, we've been here a couple of times and both times it's been fantastic. The menu changes quite regularly, but if they have pumpkin gnocchi it's a must order. The wine and limoncello are all lovely too

The food was so delicious it had us scraping up the leftover sauce with the focaccia 😍 Lovely hidden gem. Staff are super friendly and chatty, the space feels very personal and the fact they use fresh ingredients that are in season is so exciting. We came in with a few allergies and they were able to alternate ingredients to make yummy dishes. I’m so happy I’ve found this place and I can’t wait to see their next menu!

Brilliant cute place! Hidden gem! We had the langoustine linguine and aubergine ravioli - both were fantastic. Our friends had the fish of the day which was lemon sole and they really enjoyed it. They had a special on which was Cod’s roe with homemade crisps - sadly we didn’t have it but it looked amazing! The service was lovely - very attentive. Definitely will be back!

Absolutely love Trentia! Have visited twice and now and every time the food as been delectable! Cannot recommend it enough! It is still very much new on the food scene in Birmingham so it could do with a couple of home improvements in terms of it's furnishing such as the toilet and ventilation so it doesn't steam up during winter but otherwise it is so so so worth a visit!

Delicious, mouth watering, love this place! The menu takes you in an Italian food adventure in every bite. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the food is exceptional and the service is quick and on point. Fantastic place in the jewellery quarter if you want some Italian food to fall in love with!

I had a great evening at Trentina. We had cocktails to start which were very nice and top quality. The food was next to none, just like the service. Will defiantly be re-booking!

Very nice place. Doors open for summer made it feel like a proper community cafe. Great service and prices ok for fresh ingredients.

A rare Friday off so we went here for lunch and it was very good. Shared the Cobble Lane charcuterie with some lovely focaccia, and then Deb had the arribiatta and I had the pork ragu, both very tasty and filling... Hopefully we'll revisit soon because the menu looked great. And the photos aren't great because we started eating - lol!
