Moderately priced but deliciously flavoured stir fry beef with kimchi £13.95 with cobra beer £3.65. Excellent service in tastefully decorated upstairs room (downstairs was full at 6pm). Even the the piped hip hop pop music couldn’t spoil things. It inexplicably seemed to be appreciated by the mostly young crowd
The food and customer service was really good and they were very patient with us when we were being indecisive about what to eat. But the closing time online was incorrect so we felt a bit rushed to eat quickly. Just a heads up, It closes at 10pm, not 10:30pm so don't make the same mistake we made of coming in late and becoming bad customers.
Absolutely delicious came here for a date night with the hubby after what seems like years and this place was impressive. Good food good vibes lovely staff we both love k dramas and drool looking at the yummy food and soju so this was a real treat so gamsahabnida to the chefs and staff!! I had the garlic honey dip with the corn dogs and I can’t lie I could drink that stuff it was delish!!! With regards to service the only thing I’d say is although the staff were lovely just need to pay attention to detail. We didn’t get given cutlery or plates before the food arrived so had to ask and the plates weren’t cleared between courses other than that we had a lovely experience and will definitely be back hopefully with the kiddies and family!
The atmosphere is lovely. The staff are friendly and very attentive to customer needs. The food is delicious. The chicken was juicy and not dry at all. Very happy with service. :)
We came as a group of 4. Service was slow for drinks which people have commented on before. However the food made up for this. Amazing flavours and a good choice on the menu. Korean burger was brilliant, it's always a good sign when it's a messy eat. Cannot wait to return
Staff were friendly from the moment we entered and service was efficient. The restaurant is aesthetic with a nice atmosphere. Recommend the corn dogs, which were larger than expected, and the pancake wasn’t bad either. Squid with rice was a bit bland. Enjoyed the experience overall!
I went to Itaewon Korean for a birthday celebration. Noone had ever been there before. The food was really nice. 👌🏾 with good sized portions and the decor is really nice, good atmosphere.
Chicken burger and strips were delicious. Portion of chips was very small. Nice beer, and atmosphere was nice. Customer service was to a good standard.
Would I go back?
Yes.
Very good taste and fresh selected ingredients! Maybe the best Asian food in Birmingham!! Must have a try here
nice food and decent priced hot pot considering it alr comes with a lot of stuff in it definitely coming again,
the beef was also nice, not too thin and chewy
service was good and the music was perfect so glad it was soft and korean and not 2010 pop music 😞🤌🏽
We went for the a la carte menu here and it was amazing! Korean fried chicken was super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. There were many different sauces to choose from but personally I thought the itaewon secret sauce and the garlic and butter dip were the best. My absolute favourite dish was the kimchi stew with beef and tofu served with steamed rice. It was spicy, sweet, sour and savoury served piping hot in a clay pot. The chicken bulgogi was the only dish I wasn’t too crazy about as the portion was too small for the price and lacked flavour. Maybe the beef or pork belly option would be better. The staff was lovely and service was so fast. Overall, I was really impressed with the whole experience!
Service was prompt and friendly. I initially ordered the grilled chill noodles from the special menu, the staff pointed out that that would not be substantial & I ordered the bibimbap rice bowl with extra kimchi instead. Delicious, nourishing, hot and spicy and packed with fresh vegetables. Perfect! Thank you for a lovely meal
Fabolous place! Wen't for the buffet offer for £39 which includes four courses and four cocktails. The staff were very friendly and super helpful.
The food was very yummy and all cocktails were made in the restaurant's style, it was nice to try out different things for sure.
Their martini is the best! Wasn't to keen on the ribs, but I think they were prepared in an authentic korean style which was too much for a European me :))
Would definitely recommend and will come again, thank you! :)
Very nice Korean food, especially the fried chicken. Seating is limited, but there is an upstairs section. Price is OK for the city centre. Music playing was Kpop and it wasn't too loud. Service was relatively fast and the mocktails were also tasty!
It’s a shame I have to leave 4 out of 5 for our dinning experience due to the lack of communication about last orders. This is the second time we came here, thought we would give them a second chance to get it right. First disappointment was when the kitchen closed and they never told us that the kitchen staff went home so we couldn’t order anymore food (we were only able to order 1 round). The second time was this weekend where the bar didn’t tell us we couldn’t order anymore drinks. Also, on the website it’s said £25 per person but we got charged £30 each on the night.
Some food we ordered didn’t come out. Only one was communicated that they ran out of, which was fine as these things happens but the ones I have written down, some didn’t turn up.
My main improvement suggestion would be to communicate last orders and all dishes that was not able to fulfil. Hopefully it will get better and for the business to thrive. Good luck!
