I really wanted some nice comfort food to cheer me up after a long hard work day and decided to check out Grandma Aida's .
Ordering the mac & cheese alongside the Jerk chicken i can tell you just after one bite i was not disappointed .
The portion sizes are generous and the multiple layers of taste hit all the right taste buds.

I also took the time in purchasing the sky juice and i have tasted a lot of sky juice in my time. You can tell the juice is made with love and care because you will not be disappointed. Grandma Aida's is a gem of an establishment . Support small businesses it is worth a visit.

Had to Run in and get some real soul food. Inside the shop is decorated Yellow and you have to call the Woman who is cooking at the back of the shop, On the wall are Jamaican Bon Bon Lollipops that cost 40 Pence. Guys with you’re meal I suggest you try out the Sorel Drinks to wash down your finger-licking food. The nearest cash point is the Post Office or Tesco in the Wall. You won’t be disappointed!!!
Had a great time eating here after the game. Service was 5 star all the way and the food matched up. I had stew chicken that was fabulous and sorrel that was sweet and homemade.
Food is absolutely amazing, we had curry mutton and festivals (sweet). Highly recommended, great value for money. 15/10 would come again.
I rang up right before closing and was grateful as the lady took my order and cooked for me before heading home for new year and the food was lovely. Also the homemade sorrel juice was one of the nicest things I've ever tasted. Definitely my new go to for Carribean food.

I was nervous to order food from here as it was my first time ordering jamaican food and wasnt sure on what to try. The lovely lady came round and almost knew it was my first time. She recommended me the curry goat as a speciality i thought id take the risk. The meal came with rice and peas and a medley of sauteed cabbage peppers and onions. I can honestly say the food was absolutely delicious the mutton was tender thr gravy wasnt too spicy the rice was fluffy and when combined togethor was a delight in every bite. I will deffinately try something new from.here. get out of your comfort zone and try newfood!!!! The hospitality i received was amazing!!
Absolutely gorgeous food served by a lovely lady and they make fresh juices!!! So now I'm going to have to drive from Erdington to this place because it beats the pants off of the places I usually go too! Xxx

Had some food while working in the area. Rice, chicken and coconut cake for desert, the sorrel was amazing definitely give it a try. Hope they get a bigger presence
