Amazing flavours, great service. The owner really cares about the food and has pride in explaining the menu. I had the Royal breakfast and the merguez sausage was amazing. Also 5 stars for the coffee, best cappuccino i have had in a long time. Definitely worth the trip off the high street to visit.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tasteology Restaurant in Birmingham, and I must say it was a remarkable experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that set the perfect tone for a memorable meal. The breakfast options at Tasteology are truly exceptional. The Royal Breakfast, in particular, is a culinary masterpiece. From the perfectly cooked eggs to the flavorful sausages, it was a breakfast fit for royalty. And let's not forget the delicious pasta, bagels, and coffee - each dish was prepared with exquisite attention to detail, leaving my taste buds thoroughly impressed. What truly stood out, though, was the impeccable service provided by the friendly staff. Their warm smiles and attentive nature made the dining experience even more enjoyable. It's evident that they take pride in ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. In summary, Tasteology Restaurant in Birmingham is a hidden gem that offers both exceptional food and a delightful atmosphere. Whether you're in the mood for a special breakfast or a savory pasta, this restaurant delivers on taste and quality. I highly recommend paying them a visit - you won't be disappointed!

Well ! Hear me out please. I went to this place when this was newly opened I guess two years back and after that honestly speaking, there has never been a let down. Form cleanliness to service, sense of respect, taste, food with the sensation of being cooked home, I mean from deserts to breakfast, from coffee to teas and most importantly the owner (Brother) is just a super thorough gentleman. I went with the family today and boy was the food good ! Next level. High streets are full of units selling food, I mean so called food, if you want to enjoy food with simplicity, this is the place. May the Lord Almighty put loads of blessings AKHI

Quaint little place with a lovely atmosphere, amazing customer service and if you haven't tried the food here yet, you're actually missing out! Lovingly made and presented - absolutely delicious! We came to Birmingham and found this place based on reviews. What a gem. đź’Ž We tried Shakshuka, Keto breakfast and the beef burger - all halal.

Absolutely lovely! Had the vegan breakfast, it was delicious. The apple and ginger fresh juice was so refreshing, just the right amount of ginger for a zing, but not overpowering. Owner is a lovely guy, checked several times that everything was ok.

Well, this is my second time. It was the menu item "Anomaly Bagel" that caught my eye - and so a detour after parkrun to Tasteology. The cafe seems a little out of place - but when I recall this is "Harborne Borders" I suspect folks make a special trip rather than just popping in when passing by. There also seems to be a steady stream of Deliveroo etc. orders. The menu has lots of interesting options - and might be described as North African influenced - my bagel was topped by expertly cooked poached eggs (soft and tender), fried halloumi (squeaky rubbery - as it should be) and avocado "something" (smooth and viscous) - I'm not sure what was blended with the avocado - but it was scrummy. Tasty salad trimmings as well. I guess the anomaly is that all these different tastes and textures work so well together. and down to the chef delivering on the "-ology" in the cafe name. Someone has clearly thought hard about the ambiance - with classic French music playing softly, coffee served in a glass and decor/fittings not out of place on a corniche somewhere a lot closer to the Mediterranean sea than just over the border from Weoley Castle. Please do check the cafe will be open before visiting - there are periods of closure/altered times - which delayed my first visit earlier this year. As Arnie says "I'll be back".

We had the royal breakfast and Mediterranean toastie(with hummus) for drinks we had mango lassi and mocha frappe. If you have a good appetite, then the royal breakfast is something for you. Otherwise you can share it. The sausages were delicious! It's halal. Parking can be difficult, but otherwise OK.. it was a nice experience. I would go again. The owner was very nice and had a nice chat with him.

Popped in this morning on a off chance and im so glad we did, the food was a 10. You can tell as soon as you walk in the food is gonna be nice, it's a little gem, small but quirky, very friendly young lady on the front of house and the head chef was polite as well. We had breakfast in there and i highly recommend the Shakshouka it was absolutely beautiful 👌🏻 My partner had French toast with berrys, banana and honey, i think the picture says it all.... Delicious!

Staff are super friendly and accommodating. I tried the 'Royal Breakfast' on my first visit, and it was delicious. The second time I went I tried their speciality burger, which was mouth watering as well. The coffee is also excellent, the staff all seemed to be fully trained baristas, as I ordered the cortado and it was extremely well made which is a difficult thing to find. This has become a regular place for me and my friends, as it has unique dishes which are extremely tasty, with many options accommodating different diets such as vegan and vegetarian. The excellent coffee is the cherry on top. Thank you guys!

Lets talk about @tasteology_birmingham - my brother in law (thank you Amir! ) treated us to breakfast here on our stay over. You walk into cute middle eastern vibes. There was one table in the far back corner that looked really cool. Took a pic of that. The menu is one of those fancy, scan the QR at the table to see - which is quite impressive for a local small business 🎉🥳 - (you know I love to support!) I decided to go for something diff to usual so went for shakshuka & tea, elder daughter went for an omlette & milkshake. Younger one got cheesy beans on toast from the kids menu, which you get a free hot choc with. My shakshuka was delish. Best way to describe it was a warm hug in the morning. Portion sizes were great. Kids enjoyed their food too. Was impressed that the tea was served in a pot and all the food was presented well! You could tell the owner has put a lot of love into the curating the menu and food for sure!! Service on the other hand was not as impressive as the food sadly. I don’t know if the woman serving us was having a bad day personally or what the reason was. Firstly, we only noticed little one was supposed to be getting a free hot choc after we ordered so we went to mention this and cancel the one we had paid for. We were told that the orders already done now so can’t change it and that we’ll have to just have two hot chocolates… bizzare, considering the drinks had not been started yet. Secondly, no milk was served with the tea, which is fine, people forget, but we had to ask for milk about 3 times (which was quite embarrassing by the third) before we were given any. Mind you, we got the “free” hot choc straight away but the second one didn’t even turn up through the whole meal. So had to re-ask as we were leaving. She did kindly make it for us in a take away cup. I mean, it wasn’t the worst, she was still polite, but I feel like the whole experience doesn’t flow as smoothly as you hope when the service is not up to scratch. However, saying that, I know people have bad days, we are all human so it’s not that big of a deal. I just feel like I have to be completely honest when reviewing. Personally, the food would definitely bring me back again and my bro in law says the service has been great each time he’s been in the past.

If I could give 10 stars I would:))) Saw this place on google and decided to try it out today with the hubby SO GLAD we went was pleasantly surprised at the whole experience. Will be our new go to, 100% a different dining experience and surprisingly it was decently priced considering the quality of the fresh ingredients as well as the presentation and portion sizes. From walking towards the shop and seeing the decor on the outside the place had a warm feel. Greeted straight away from the owner with a big smile and gesture that he would take care of us and be with us as soon as he could. The VARIETY WAS SO REFRESHING vegan, all halal, vegetarian options and even a childrens menu. The hot drinks were delicious. Got to add syrups as we pleased. Overall such a lovely positive experience from this small business very satisfied and will be returning as owner made an extra effort to speak to each customer and have a lighthearted conversation while making sure we knew that if anything was wrong with our food he could change it for us happily. Big props to this place has really great food and a warm welcoming aura I cannot RECOMMEND ENOUGH:))

Food was very tasty. Slight concern around hygiene as cutlery not clean but server was apologetic and replaced. Not a long wait. Nice touch with the olive oil on the mashed avocado.

The man who I’m assuming is the owner was so sweet. I came in late last week. Kitchen was closed and I only came to have the food. He was very nice and opened up the kitchen to quickly make me something. Customer service was amazing and the food was even better. 100% recommend. Don’t turn up late like me

I visited here after a strong presence online. Let me say these reviews are in no way exaggerated. Parking - parking is not an issue loads of parking right outside Customer service- the owner is so warm and welcoming honestly the best service received in a long time nowadays it’s really hard to come across owners that are so passionate about their food / business. Food- exceptional fresh homemade food . I cannot fault anything that we ordered. Eggs were fresh and well seasoned. The coffee is amazing much better than mainstream company coffees that I usually drink. This place is a gem and would defo make it a regular family place to visit. Thank you so much!

B'S HONEST REVIEW ♡ Location♡ I was staying in ladywood , it was about 11 minuet drive .. easy to find near other shops around residencial area . Please note on busy days limited places to park . Food ♡ Tasteology has a wide verity to chose from on their menu , we went to have breakfast | full english & ketology breakfast ( payed extra for fruits on the side | both breakfast served good portions, the ketology has the BEST homemade gaucamole .. honestly i was obsessed ! Everything was nice , left satisfied and i had no complaints .. i will be coming back again . Customer Service ♡ Upon arrival in the establishment there was only one front of house working , our drinks came quickly | latte & ice coffe | . The waitress was very nice, later on the chef came and had a chat with us he was really friendly & asked how our meal was . My overall opinion ♡ Tasteology is one of those chilled, friendly, reliable cafe spots in youre local area with nice food. I would reccomend you to go .
