Excellent dining experience at The Rolling Mill yesterday. The food was delicious and our waitress was very attentive and checked on our table multiple times throughout our meal. I’d definitely recommend the fish and chips! Their pork belly bites and BBQ pulled chicken pizza was also delicious and gluten free!
Been to the Rolling Mill a few times now and it’s always great fun and the food never disappoints.
On this passion we went for bottomless brunch. Again, the food was excellent, but they did this weird thing where they wouldn’t replenish or replace our drinks until everyone in the group had finished their current drink. I possibly get the logistics of taking one group drinks order at a time, but it meant those with smaller drinks were left waiting for those with points to finish up. It just felt like an awkward and unnecessary thing to do and I’ve not experienced that before. Usually drinks are replaced as and when.
It didn’t ruin our time there though.
Went for a drink in a rainy afternoon, the cocktail is very nice. The decoration of the restaurant is stylish. Haven’t got chance to try the food in here, but the menu looks very good. Will go back to try the food next time. Staff are polite and helpful.
Went here on a Saturday for a late lunch with no booking. There wasn't space but the staff were really helpful and accommodating. Love the vibe and atmosphere of the venue though it was super hot. Especially in the toilets. The lamb burger was delicious. The loaded fries were slightly disappointing because they weren't actually loaded. Overall nice fun place to dine thought it was slightly overpriced for the food.
Loved the choices of sauces available at the side.
Came here with a friend on Friday for food and drinks. Our first time here.
Firstly, the venue is lovely! Very modern, clean and a great atmosphere.
Service was amazing. Didn't have to wait for anything. Staff were very attentive but not over the top.
We had the lamb burger and the chicken burger, both with fries and we both said how lovely the food was. Hot, fresh, tasty and a great portion size.
Overall, a great experience. We will be back and will recommend to others.
Great spot!
Really nice atmosphere, laid back and chilled but with fantastic food. I opted for the Pork Belly Bites and Truffled fries and it was delicious. The pork was tender and juicy with a sriracha mayo that had the perfect amount of spice.
Will be back to try the Sunday roast soon!
Amazing building, decor and atmosphere. Staff lovely and service wonderful. Food a little pricier than we'd normally pay but starters and burgers really nice and the fries really well cooked. Would definitely go again and try different things.

Great meal for 2 in a very warm and Christmassy setting with great sound and atmosphere. The drink selection were good with special seasonal drinks available which tasted nice. We did want a Sunday roast but we went in the evening after 6 and sadly they had run out. We chose to eat from the normal menu and both really enjoyed what we had. The starters, mains and desserts were amazing and the portion sizes where just right. I would highly recommend this restaurant it’s truly a great place with a fantastic vibe.
Stopped with family for a lunch. We booked in advance and so organised they were,
Our table was all set out with the high char with no issues at all.
The service was immaculate all the staff were so friendly and happy to help.
We ordered boa buns , honestly I can say they are one of the best boa buns I’ve ever tasted. I just cannot in anyway fault the food everything was so flavourful and fresh.
What a true gem ! Family friendly with a lovely ambiance. Defo needs another visit
Lovely rustic American style bar - brilliant service and gorgeous food and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend !
Bit of a mixed review on this one. There's a really nice vibe to this place. Chilled. And the venue is really nice. Furniture and décor is on point. The barman was a little moody but efficient. And now the food... The serving staff were super friendly and helpful, keen to offer suggestions. And this is where things went downhill. Once we ordered, we waited for nearly AN HOUR to get our food. The place was not even that busy, given it was relatively early on - on a Tuesday evening. We had to chase our food a couple of times before it finally arrived. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Nasi Goreng and my friend went for the Homemade Chicken, Pancetta, Mushroom & Leek Pie. My chicken was pleasant, however it was served with a fried egg which had the consistency of "I've been waiting around for a while", which corresponds to the delay in our food order. My friends wasn't great. Once the lid was off, the filling was super runny and greasy. My others friends had fish n chips and steak sandwiches and they were on point. Overall a nice visit, but had to drop a couple of stars for the long wait and quality of the food.
Nice place with a friendly staff atmosphere was excellent the drinks and meals arrived in good time value for money great portions
Beautiful surrounding, friendly staff and gorgeous food. You definitely pay for what you get, although a little bit on the pricier side, the portions, flavour and service make up for it. The best Mac and cheese, and ginger sponge we have ever had. We will definitely be visiting again. A massive thank you to Savannah for being so helpful and welcoming. A wonderful night all round.
Nothing to say except what a stunning place! Lush cocktails and fresh pizza to make it even better!
We were at the Rolling Mill a few weeks ago for a drink and were impressed with the place so returned with the family to try restaurant. Starters were tasty, the Sunday lunch was really lovely, the best we have had in a long time, fish & chips superb and lamb cutlets perfect. Thank you Kelly and Dan for being attentive hosts. We will be back soon.
Lovely new establishment in Birmingham's historic Jewelry Quarter. The venue is stunning and will be even better when the terrace bar opens. I was genuinely surprised at how good the was, the pizza was delicious and the menu is extensive enough to go back and try more. Would recommend!
Great place for either lunch or dinner. Plenty of seating and of you only want to drink there is a whole different room for that. Portion of food is good value for money, have in-house stone baked oven plus bar that stretch across the wall. Beautiful renovation from warehouse to classy restaurant and bar. Atmosphere is brill and friendly staff.
