We've been looking for Bavarian cuisine and AS Birmingham gave us more! From the food options to the ambiance, and very friendly dining experience, it's like taking us back to Munich! Best service and value in town. Highly recommended!

Nice quirky place to eat lunch, I can only imagine the entertainment on an evening is good fun. Food was tasty and fresh, if you like spice, some dishes may not suit. The chilliwurst however had bags of flavour and a nice amount of heat 🙂

I went to a Muse and Mimosas Sip and Paint class on Tuesday and the function room the event was held in at Albert Schloss was lovely! A very cool bar with plenty of seating and nice lighting and even bathrooms just for the function room. I have visited before just for drinks and the atmosphere is always great and so are the drinks!

We enjoyed lunch and breakfast (the following day) here. On both occasions we were looked after by Harry who was friendly, attentive and very pleasant. On both visits it was very quiet so there wasn't a great deal of atmosphere but the inside is very nicely appointed. It's nice to see a different menu, good beer selection and lovely pastries. The hot chocolate was excellent quality, none of your carburys drinking chocolate here! The fresh orange juice was quite tart, largely I think because of the lemon in it, so it tasted more like lemon with orange, but I appreciate you can't pluck oranges from the tree outside and have a sweet, deep orange like Spain! The paprika chicken was pleasant, quite a kick to the sauce and apple mash which was sweet if very subtle. I enjoyed the blackbirds dessert, needed more kirsch and cherries. The trifle was creamy with nice fresh bananas but a little bland. Breakfast, Turkish eggs, nicely done but lacked flavour and my Cumberland sausage and egg croissant was difficult to eat as a bun, without knife and fork. Curry ketchup very tasty. All in all we enjoyed it and will return to try more of the menu, I only wish bircher muesli was on the breakfast selection! Beautiful pastries and croissants. Breakfast on 14 Oct, looked after very well by Shanice. Delicious full English equivalent, great quality, fresh ingredients, served on a hot plate! Fresh orange juice sweet and delicious (an improvement from my first review). OH had the veggie breakfast and really enjoyed it. Nice music, clean and welcoming environment. This place should be busier than it is!

I went last week to Albert Schloss while visiting Birmingham. I had an amazing experience, not just the service was exceptional (I forgot the name of the girl who helped us but she was so kind and helped us choosing the dishes). The Sunday roast was very delicious, the portion was huge (I do not complain though). We ordered three desserts, the black Forrest one, banoffe and the Apple strudel, I cannot pick a favorite tbh. We also had a cookie dough pastry, which unsurprisingly was amazing as well. I will def go to Birmingham again just for this restaurant and to try all of the amazing pastries đŸ„đŸ· Plus the interiors and atmosphere were wonderful and prices were totally fair!!!

Very nice German beer house in the city centre. Ordered the pork knuckle and it is a bomb. Definitely within the top 3 in my global pork knuckle list. I especially like it comes with some (I believe it’s the Apple sauce), it is so good to go with the crispy skin. They also has a special Sauerkraut which is unlike the original one, however I think it would be even better if it’s more sour. A highly recommend German beer + pork knuckle place in Bermingham and I will certainly comeback next time when I visit the city.

I like it here. Been here a few times now, consistently good. Time to review. Beer is lovely, the Pilsner Urquell is so very good. I was in Bratislava recently and had a truly lovely 0,5 litre of said beer. The beer at Albert's Schloss was every bit as good, they chill the glasses and the beer is very well kept. I like the attention to detail showing the date that the barrel was tapped. Very good, they clearly care about their beer. The burger was very reasonably priced and off the scale good. I had the chicken burger by itself, quite excellent. If you are in Brum, give this place a visit, it's very close to Broad Street where most of the hotels seem to be in this second city of the Empire.

Simply fantastic. We had a boozy lunch that ended up being a whole afternoon here. The food is amazing. Great quality and not overly expensive. The staff are attentive without being overbearing and incredibly good at their job. Sebastian our Waiter made the experience for us, amazing! The atmosphere is great. Cannot recommend enough.

Amazing Place for food and Fun! The host that found us seats at the bar for dinner was amazing and kind getting us a seat to eat even though we did not have a reservation (last minute dinner plans), I didn’t quite get her name but she is about 1.60 cm, black hair with some highlights (i think), dark skin and Telma was incredible. Super friendly and attentive. She made our experience even nicer The live bands were fantastic. the Girl with the piano, and the beach party band were fenomenal. I asked one of the security staff on my way out the name of the band, and she couldn’t tell as she didn’t know (only down side hahahaha , which is not really a downside as I wish to find out the band name)':

Food was great, however, there was no one at the greeting stand and we had to wait for some time before getting a table. Table service was great - many thanks Alessandro!

The table staff were very attentive and friendly; the food came out fast; the atmosphere had a nice buzzy vibe. While the salad was tasty, there really weren’t a lot there to justify the cost. The curry wurst was yum - we particularly enjoyed the pickled gherkin slices on the side. On the whole, the food was great and we had a lovely evening, but couldn’t help but feel a tinge of sadness when comparing tonight’s with previous visits as the dishes we had appear to have fallen victim to shrinkflation.

Food was very nice, and service was excellent. Party of 8 and everyone had an alteration to their order, but it was all related back to us exactly as we'd asked. All orders were 100% correct when they came out (which is very rare at other restaurants). Would definitely come back.

Omg, where do I start with Albert Schloss - the service was outstanding - on entry as there was no available tables - we were seated at the back bar where we had table service. I ordered one of the main meals (a fish meal) absolutely outstandingly tasty. The service of our server was lovely too. Thank you - I will defo be coming back
