The food was delicious! We ordered a lot of different items on the menu. Calamari was nice and crispy, halloumi cheese was nice and hot. The meat was really fresh. Highly recommend this place. Everything tasted lovely.
We had the 2-3 person platter which is currently on offer. Food and salad tasted fresh and were presented very well. The food is halal, and they have a licensed bar. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with Turkish lamps and pictures. Atmosphere was great with people from different backgrounds enjoying their meals. Will definitely be going there again especially with our children.
Food was amazing and service was quick. I think we have found a new favourite restaurant. Would highly recommend

Turknazz is locted in moesley, very easy to get to by car and public transport . There is parking outside on street but on the weekend could possibly be limited.

I ordered mocktails | lemonade & strawberry .
We had fresh bread , dips ( yoghurt | turkish chilli dip ) and olives to start with whilst waiting for our main . The chilli dip was my favorite because you can tell it was fresh and i love the kick of flavour it had .
For our main we had a grill platter for 2 that came with a verity of different meats & two different types of rice.
I have eaten at a lot of turkish resturants, today i can say turknazz is in my top 5 & let me tell you why. First ive never been keen on any chicken adana but turknazz has changed my mind .. it was fresh , full of flavour and not DRY ! The lamb ribs actually had enough meat on it and i wasnt just sucking the bones for flavor ! The chicken wings was seasoned to the high heavens & it was moist. Lamb chunks arent chewy & adana kebab had my heart 🩷
Do i have to say anything about turkish rice , I mean its best .. need i say more ?
Atmosphere ♡
The resturant is quite spacious with more seating upstairs, the decor is subtle but modern and the turkish mosaic chandeliers gives it that elegant feel . I do wish that the lights are a tad more dim as i think it could gives the restaurant a really nice feel to the Atmosphere .

I can fault the service as everything came in a good amount of time , friendly staff and nice barman.

Gorgeous food, but the service was a little lacking. I went with friends and had the lamb Ali Nazak, which was incredibly juicy and tender and came with bulgar wheat and salad. Although the prices were very expensive the food was delicious and the portions were huge.
My friend had the kofte and ordered chips instead of rice or bulgar, but as you can see from the receipt was charged the full price for the kofte despite not having the sides and was charged additionally for the chips, which was disappointing and is why I have removed a star.
Went to Turknazz this afternoon and had a beautiful meal; highly recommend. Both starters and mains were delicious, packed with flavour and the meats were moist. The homemade bread was fluffy, fresh out the oven which complimented well with the mixed olives and dips. I would like to thank the manager on shift today for providing us complimentary Turkish tea and baklava too, it was so unexpected! Thank you!

We went here for Mother's Day. The service was great and the food. All the ladies got a free drink. There were 9 of us and they accommodated us all.

First time dining here last week, Turkish food is my favourite and I usually stick to the restaurant I know. However a friend suggested and I'm glad she did!! The wings were perfect! The salad was fresh 😍 the cocktails (long island is a must) was amazing, and the staff were friendly welcoming and attentive. The guy with the tattoos served us and he was just so friendly and helpful. 100% be coming back l.
Superb restaurant. The food was delicious; especially the meat feast from the extra menu. I took pictures so you can taste with your eyes 👀 ;-). One of the reasons you can tell it's a good restaurant is the mix of diners. There were women catching up, with a good gossip, mates in a medium group, out for good food, children with parents, couples on dates and most of all, there was a really moderate sounding lively of chatter; not too intrusive, but just right. We took our take away bags, as there was a generous amount of food. Can't complain in that department. The only bug-bear was the position of the toilet and the fact the it was left open (downstairs, in between the bar and kitchen) 😒. Not sure the reason for that. However, back to the positives. The decor is beautifully unique.
Food was very nice and perfectly up to standard, as well as this, the front of house staff treated us very well catering to our needs. They were very friendly and I would certainly recommend visiting if you haven’t already! Definitely 5 stars and I am planning on visiting again.
Recently visited this restaurant as I was interested in Turkish food. The food was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised, since it was my first time trying food of this sort. The service was amazing and the staff treated us kindly throughout, the two cocktails we ordered tasted great and on top of the food I would say it was an amazing experience.
Ordered the platter for 2-3 people and we were not disappointed. There was a nice selection of chicken and meat with some rice. The salad on the side was fresh. Ontop of that the shop had a discount offer for the month!

I think Turknaz is the best Turkish restaurant in Birmingham. Food is delicious and the service is very good. It is more expensive than most but then the quality is there for your money.
