The desi breakfast was good but was surprised that my daughter finished off the English breakfast, apart from the beans and toast. Which means she really enjoyed it. Went Saturday mid morning, not busy and cleanliness wasn't an issue.
One of the best chaii places in Birmingham even though the decor is not the best the food is fantastic. The shawarma parata is one of their nicest dishes, although it is abit small. Samosa chaat is one of the best I've had in Birmingham. Not a huge fan of the type of fries they have but they're ok.
Went again recently and the chicken and waffle is top knotch along with the French toast
The saffron milk cake when extra cold and the karak is chefs š so yummy and delicious canāt wait to go back oh and the biscoff needed a tad more lemon to cut through the sweetness but managed to gobble it all down ā„ļø
Ordered the Desi Breakfast in the morning and the food was simply delicious. The parathas were crispy, the chana masala was spicy and fresh and the achar was my favourite. Really spicy, tangy and fresh.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chaiiology in Birmingham for a quick breakfast takeaway order, and I must say, it was a delightful experience overall. Chaiiology stands out as the only desi breakfast place open at the early hour of 7:30 am, making it a convenient option for those seeking a tasty morning fix.
I decided to try their popular Omelette Paratha Wrap with Cheese, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The wraps were simply mind-blowing! The cheese they use inside the wrap is on a whole different levelāit added a beautiful and delicious touch to the overall flavor. Each bite was a treat, and I couldn't get enough of it.
To accompany my meal, I ordered both the Karak Chaii and Karak Coffee. The Chaii had a strong and milky taste, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
However, I did encounter a minor hiccup with the coffee. Unfortunately, it tasted a bit burnt, which was a disappointment. I believe this may have been an isolated incident.
I highly recommend visiting Chaiiology for a satisfying and flavourful start to your day.
Visited this place as recommended by a friend as the area of full of tea places and food outlets. Small shop with plenty of seating offering variety of teas and coffee and desserts. We went in the evening and tried the tandoori karak chai, Moroccan mint tea, Oreo milkshake, Chocolate Fudge cake and pistachio milk cake. They have also started doing waffles so tried one of these and it didnāt disappoint. All food and drink is served in takeaway containers which wasnāt a issue but if your checking the photos it my clear that up. Desserts were 10/10 and tea was so nice ending up getting a re-fill on the way out.
The food is delicious and staff are friendly been here twice both times food has been really good. Only improvements needed are the veg pakoras they were hard and stale apart from that everything else we ordered was tasty and fresh!! :)
Can't believe it was still open at 1.30am, but fair play, great service, great chai... Just what was needed at the end of a night. Wife had been here before and raves about it, nit yet tried food but menu looks good and certainly I'll be popping in for breakfast soon.
Been here for breakfast since and can't fault it. Tasty and the fact they have more of a take on an English breakfast makes it appealing.
Tasty grub.
Spontaneous trip to one of the finest chai place in Birmingham, must say the decor inside is absolutely beautiful š
We decided to get a selection of fresh Doughnuts, Lotus Milk Cake, Samsoa Chaat & Baklava Cheesecake. The Doughnuts were hot, fresh and tasted amazing. Definitely one of the best doughnuts we tried! They werenāt overly sweet and sickly as doughnuts from other places have been. There was a good balance between the doughnut and chocolate sauces/topping. First time trying the Baklava Cheesecake must say it was absolutely delicious, highly recommended for those who love Cheesecakes and Baklava! The Samosa Chaat tasted amazing too, tangy and full of flavour. Lotus Milk Cake was simply amazing perfect amount of milk just the way I like it šš½ The Chaiiās are freshly prepared and spot on šš½
Overall, we really enjoyed our desserts, chaiiās & doughnuts, Would definitely visit again. The staff were friendly and really gave the place a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, fast service, nice decor and good prices. Ordered a baklava cheesecake, first time trying this, it was absolutely delicious, highly recommend for those who love cheesecake and baklava! Was upset they werenāt selling falooda the time I went as they were serving it in the evening, but ordered a pink tea, was amazing! Definitely recommend to try out this place if you havenāt been.
Can I be absolutely honest - BETTER then Chaiwala. 10/10 for desserts and donuts, the Tandoori Chai was insane. Loved it and the staff were really friendly and attentive. They made the Tandoori chai in front of us, loved the vibe and the fresh taste of the chai. Even their Karak chai was on point. This place is on the busiest road so make sure you take time out to sit and enjoy your chai. I loved it and so did my family. I took some takeaway and you wont believe it, but even after 2 days the desserts was so good. We will be going back again and again.
Nice, quick breakfast which is priced decently! Ordered a tandoori chai which was presented nicely, but tasted fairly similar to a normal chai.
Really nice place, although it is the newest to open next to two other popular tea shops of the same kind. We only had drinks. A mixture of mint tea, karak and the special house tea. All drinks were nice and I would highly recommend the house tea served in a special clay mug - reminded us of being in Pakistan!
The only real sour point was when the manager asked us not to sit on separate tables as the business would look 'too busy' to potential customers and so we have to group together and sit tightly as a group.
A customer should be able to sit where and how they want. Also, you're worried about affecting potential customers but not appreciating people who are actually customers??
decor is a bit tacky but the food never fails to impress!! chana masala from here is my favourite and tops every single other chai shop there is (chaiiwala is nasty imo). This is my favourite place to get breakfast from! extremely tasty food and milk cake and their falooda is the best ive ever tasted too. Would NEVER go anywhere else for falooda if chaiiology is an option! Karak chaii from here is the best tasting too imo!!
Really good selection of teas, which were great.
Due to popularity service is a bit slow (half an hour roughly to receive our order).
Would not recommend the coffee, had a slight stale taste. However the teas, and selection of desserts are definitely worth a visit.
7/10
