Best Turkish food in Birmingham with exceptional service.
We were made to feel very welcome from the time we stepped. The service was exceptional and they aimed to please. The food was really nice and presented well and very good portions. We were able to take our leftovers with us. They checked to make sure we were happy with our food. It would be nice to have more selection of sweet wines and it was a bit cold during our visit so turning the heating on would have made us more comfortable. We agreed we probably would visit again.
Gizem is a wonderful establishment, so much so that we came back to eat the very next week! The staff are brilliant and beyond helpful and friendly while the food is exquisite. The kebabs are succulent and the food is always delicious all at a reasonable price! I would definitely recommend Gizem! Great food!
Had 2 lunches here today. Whole sea bream with hot veg and salad and veg kebab with salad and rice. Both plentiful and well presented. Also given a lot of excellent Turkish bread with 2 dips plus olives at no charge and Turkish Tea also complimentary. Only drank water but alcohol available. Great value for £28. Pity about lockdown coming up but will use them for a takeaway and they deliver free up to 2 miles.
Very good and tasteful food and friendly stuff. The atmosphere reminded me of the Mediterranean countries. I was amazed with the hospitality and the quality of what we ordered. We will be ordering at home quite often from now on. Totally recommend it!
Visited on Thursday evening with a friend. Super friendly owner and lovely waiting staff. Food was delicious, starters and mains. Recommended Turkish beer also tasty. Highly recommended.
