Han - best barista Charlie - most lovely guy 10/10 service I had the cold brew: it was so rich and chocolatey but not bitter (so lovely), best almond croissant I’ve ever had. Overnight mango oats are out of this world. Nicest coffee shop ever I can’t sing its praises enough !!!! James and Naomi you’ve smashed this

been here twice and all I can say is 10/10!! I absolutely love the porridge-- it's smooth and flavourful and so crazy tasty. every variation I've tried has been amazing, please keep more seasonal specials coming!! also loved the roasted parsnip soup they had over christmas. so homely and comforting ❤ big shout-out to the staff for always being so friendly and thoughtful as well. highly, highly recommend this cafe to anyone. thanks for the amazing times and can't wait to be back!!

Probably one of the best decorated coffee shops I have ever been to. It looks like a time machine back to the 60s/70s. Truly gorgeous. The coffee was OK but not spectacular. Two small sandwiches and two coffees came just under 20 pounds. Very expensive for the quality of the coffee. Service was friendly enough but lacked a bit in communication effort. The sandwiches were good as well. I just think the drinks quality should match the atmosphere.

really cute spot, you can sit outdoors as well as indoors. i got porridge and coffee and they were okay, porridge too sweet for my taste but i love the different flavour combinations they’ve got available. the coffee wasn’t great, i got an oat milk flat white and the milk texture just wasn’t what i’m after, but still pleasant enough to drink. i know coffees can vary so it’s not a big deal, i’d still go back if i lived in the area :)

I was so happy to stumble upon this cute coffee shop. Loved the atmosphere and my caffe latte. A great use of the space which also included an upper seating area. I opted for the swinging chair next to the look out window. It was a lovely experience. Just wish my latte was a tad bit hotter.

Eccentric, fun decor. More seating upstairs. Good coffee. Dog friendly. One of the servers asked if my dog wanted water without me having to ask. Thank you for being dog friendly!

Love this place! They are always so welcoming and the interior feels like you've gone back in time to the 60/70 and in a good way. What they do to the humble porridge is out of this world! The toppings are so fresh and luxurious. There's a good amount of choice and they change their menu seasonally.

Don’t often give 5 stars but if my 14 year old daughter wants to return, then they are doing something right. Friendly and cosy with delicious overnight oats 🤤

I always make sure to pay a visit when I’m in Birmingham. The PB and berry compote is my favorite and their coffee is great. The area upstairs is very cozy.

Lovely dishes and the decor makes you feel like you’ve found a little haven far away from the hustle and bustle of Brum.

A super lovely little cafe with a great vibe. Personnel is always super friendly and attentive. The food is outstanding. I had a few warm porridge variations over the last few months, in everything has been a 5/5. Their banana overnight oats, though - obsessed! Genuinely going to miss this place; it will be my first stop whenever I return to Brum.

We went on a Saturday morning and it was absolutely packed. We perched in the window, but would've liked to have had a bit more space. Will return some other time to try and have a more relaxing visit! The drinks were great tho!

Good option if you are looking for something warm and filling that’s GF and non dairy. Nice calm place to watch the rain pouring outside

A cosy oasis in Brum's historic pretty Gt Western Arcade. Delicious hearty gluten-free porridge, oat milk coffee, friendly staff. I wish I lived nearer so I could be a regular. Highly recommended for coffee, breakfast and lunch🥄☕️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Popped in here the other day to catch up on some work and a bite to eat. I had the salad bowl with salmon and it was delicious and a really good chai latte. Lovely cafe with good free wifi. The staff were really friendly and attentive too. Can’t wait to go back and try upstairs.

So much prefer quirky independent coffee shops over the chains. This place has recently opened in the place originally occupied by Vienna Patesserie. The place is quite small, just a small seating area upstairs. But the coffee is great. So few places at the moment you can actually sit down and have a coffee. Hope they do well. Staff are great. They also play vinyl records, so they get 5 stars just for that. Go Morridge. You have a regular customer.
