Warehouse Cafe has been on my agenda for a long, long time! I'm not vegan but have had spells of it in the past and had heard the food here was delicious and I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed at all! Considering the pandemic and the weight of restrictions facing many places, especially independents, I was ao impressed by the quality of the food! It may just look like burger and chips but wow... thkse chips are some of the best I've had - anywhere! They are so light and crispy, and lightly seasoned with herbs, soft in the middle... I ordered more! Then you get to the burger, perfectly toasted brioche with this amazing burger which was unlike any bean-type burger I've had before... with the melted vegan cheese that ACTUALLY tasted like cheese... this wicked sauce and fresh salad... with a fantastic vegan mayo dipping sauce... absolutely brilliant 👌🏾🔥 and the vegan oreo brownie... 🤤🤤🤤 can't wait to go back!!!
An incredible vegan cafe! I honestly didn't think vegan food could taste this good! Went for Sunday Lunch and it was delightful. Very quick and friendly table service, food arrived swiftly and are huge portions for the price. I very much recommend this place for a nice meal or raven just a coffee in the chilled ambience.
This cafe/vegan restaurant is really a gem! The burger was fantastic, one of the best I’ve had around!
It’s a very chill, relaxing environment with a friendly staff.
They have a great menu with options for all different plant based eaters, including desserts at the counter, drinks and specials. The food tasted fresh, was very flavourful and very well presented. It was also a really good amount of food for the price. I would definitely recommend checking it out!
Had a great surprise when I stumbled upon this place yesterday, food was fantastic and I loved the ethical approach to everything. Had fantastic service too. Can't wait to go back. Vegan cheeseburger was excellent, as was the coffee. I will be back as soon as possible!
Really lovely place and the whole menu is vegan. And the staff is friendly. Food my take some time to be ready when they are busy, but it's worth it.
The Warehouse Cafe is a gem in digbeth. Their vegan style banana blossom fish and chips & Vegan Kebab burger and chips meals were fantastic! They have a great variety of craft beers available and a wonderful selection of homemade cakes too. The Cafe's interior is pretty basic; there are sofas with a bookcase at one end of the room and basic chairs and tables around the rest of the room. This creates a relaxed environment but I can see how this would people off from visiting! I am glad I overlooked this minor detail and checked our their menu; the courses look and taste delicious!
There’s a really cosy feel about this place. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the products they serve. Had a Groupon voucher for my birthday from work buddies (2 x courses and a glass of wine for 2). The food (pictured) was delicious. Had to wait a while for it to arrive as the place was busy and everything was cooked fresh, to order. The street it’s in feels a little ‘edgey’ but couldn’t recommend this place enough.
What an excellent place tucked away near Moor Street station. Easy to get to and offering a great vegetarian menu with some vegan options thrown in. My food arrived looking beautiful and I was already planning my return visit while eating. Plus their desserts! As someone who usually refrains, seeing a banana cake on the Specials board was enough to persuade me. Absolutely delightful. Bring your friends.
The new Warehouse Cafe is amazing! Their food is always brilliant, beautiful, delicious and nutritious! If you're there, make sure to check out the daily offers! You can't go wrong with those either! Also big kudos for building a community in Digbeth!
Great vegetarian cafe. Good menu with lots of options. I had the Buddha bowl, which was delicious. The fruit and veggies were all fresh and the various beans and grains went well together. Nice interior and nice staff.
Awesome food here for veggies and vegans. Lovely staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. I love how the food always have a couple of unique and quirky choices; sprout pakoras currently on the festive menu...my favourite starter now!
It's a very cute little place with an interesting menu. Nice vegan options throughout the menu, even dessert. Main course portions are decent but desserts could be bigger in my opinion.
Lovely staff.
A little pricy but it's a nice treat.
Offers takeaway options too.
One of the best places in Birmingham to get vegan food. Lovely staff, nice vibe and delicious food and coffee.
Was especially impressed by the Banana Blossom ‘fish’. I highly recommend this dish for vegans, veggies and Omni’s alike.
The Warehouse also hosts a variety of events so worth checking them out on the socials!
Great food. I had the broccoli falafel and we shared the delicious cake. My friends is the potato soup. Really hearty and home made, filling food. I'm not vegitarian/vegan but I loved it. Really good food.
Fantastic food - some of the best vegan cookery I've eaten.
Very reasonably priced for a restaurant experience.
Exceptional veggie burger with generous filling, plenty of coleslaw and superb sweet potato fries in a big portion.
Outstanding brownie - moist, rich, dark chocolate. As good as a top-quality non-vegan version!
Friendly staff and mostly good service. 2 of the 3 staff who served us were really warm & friendly. 1 member was slightly cold and terse.
Restaurant would benefit from basic redecoration, as it looks worn. Bathroom would benefit from redecoration and refitting too.
Overall, a fantastic experience. I'll certainly visit again!
Delicious and filling. Friendly and swift service. Wonderful airy atmosphere. If you’re vegan, it’s a must visit place!
I ordered the battered banana blossom/ Vegan fish and chips and can't think how I've managed to survive so long without it!! A homely environment, with excellent service and amazing food ✨✨✨ will definitely be back soon!
Fantastic, went on a Sunday afternoon, for a coffee and something sweet. The place had a good vibe about it, lots of people. They have a large selection of vegan cakes, would never have guessed! They also had scrummy sounding lunch menu too... Will be back for sure. Staff were all polite and friendly - new management from a few weeks ago apparently.
Curiously enough, there's a radio station within the building and you can observe the presenters through a window in the cafe.
The building is a lovely old redbrick industrial one representative of the area, I rather wished aesthetic inside had a bit more of the character form the outside.
Practicalities... A couple of toilets, highchairs for kids, a comfy sofa (if your're lucky), interesting books and leaflets etc.
