Visited last night and have only small criticism and that's the bar is a bit on the slow side, but everything else was excellent we had the carvery with very tasty meats pork beef and gammon all the veg was perfectly cooked a very satisfying meal, my son had the pizza and he ate every last slice which is an approval all of its own. Overall great friendly staff and good service. And excellent value for money One thing that I'm very impressed with is my bug bear dirty tables but not here the tables are constantly cleared sprayed wiped and the chairs placed back around the table top marks for cleanliness.

Really great venue for 90th birthday party. Choice of menu meant every one in the party could be accommodated, and the birthday girl was delighted. Highly recommend The White Swan for family occasions.

What a breath of fresh air Fin the barman is. Very pleasant, upbeat and friendly. Not the first time I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Fin in the white swan and always get his great attitude to all customers he serves. Keep up the good work Fin.

We booked the White Swan in Wythall.for a funeral wake for approx 20 people. We had the buffet menu. The food was good value, very nicely prepared and something for everyone. The staff were attentive and thoughtful. The booking process was easy and they spent some time discussing our requirments and looking after us on the day.

I regularly find myself at The White Swan, a carvery of unassuming exterior but of culinary commitments that could only be described as devout. The establishment presents itself with the simplicity and earnestness of a country sermon, yet within, it performs miracles with beef and turkey that could convert even the most ardent vegetarian. The beef, tender as a mother’s love, carved with the precision of a poet’s pen by the commendable Ben, a virtuoso of the carving knife, whose skills impart to each slice a dignity that elevates the dining experience to a near-sacramental act. The turkey, meanwhile, is a study in moisture retention, its juices locked in as if by divine intervention, defying the dryness that so often befalls its kind, making each forkful a testament to poultry’s potential. The accompaniments are a chorus of earthy tones and textures, from the heroically crispy roast potatoes, golden and glistening, to the mash, smooth as a well-rehearsed choir. The green beans and carrots offer a crunch and color that break the monochrome of beige, providing a vegetal counterpoint that is both necessary and welcome. And then there is the gravy, a savory elixir that unites the disparate elements with the grace of a maestro, its richness a foundation upon which this culinary cathedral is built. No review of The White Swan could omit the Yorkshire pudding, an architectural marvel in its own right, its cavernous interior the perfect repository for the aforementioned gravy. The pork scratchings, meanwhile, are a crispy coda to the meal, a reminder of the pleasures of texture in the symphony of taste. In sum, The White Swan, under the deft hand of Ben the carver, delivers a carvery experience that transcends the mere act of dining, becoming instead a celebration of the bounty of the land and the skill of those who prepare it. In a world of fleeting pleasures and forgotten meals, this is one that will linger in the memory, a meal that is both comforting in its familiarity and delightful in its execution.

I am not a big fan of burgers but the vegetarian chickpea burger etc was absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. The place was clean and windows were open for good ventilation. The staff were friendly smiley and very helpful and the food came quickly. It always makes a difference when staff serve with a smile and some conversation, especially when your eating alone. Nikita came served with a super big smile and made my experience there an enjoyable one with just the right amount of conversation. Thank you Nikita 😍

Staff were lovely unfortunately no fish available and carvery was going to be ready in about half an hour so the 3 of us had scampi which was superb although we will bring our own tartare sauce next time as staff said you have stopped it. My side salad was lovely and fresh and the drinks were good thank you

It's a nice pub very friendly and welcoming. The only thing I found was 3 of us had a burger which I found wasn't cooked enough. 2 had the share plate which was nice. 6 had carvery which was also nice. The burgers are nice if you like them like that. Think it's my preference to have them cooked.

Feels like my nan has moved up the road. Roast potatoes and gravy are banging, meats banging so are the yorkies. Being male, I am not a fan of veg but I will eat it. I moved to the area recently and was the first time yesterday I managed to get something decent to eat delivered from here on Uber, so much so that I reordered again today, would definitely recommend.
