I loved this pub. This pub has great bar and serves great food. There are private rooms to for a game of pool. I also I liked the interior of the pub with Ub40 memorabilia as this was the pub that shot Ub40's greatest hits album. All around there is a good locals vibe in this pub. I love this place

Absolutely wonderful through and through. Stunning historical building, amazing friendly and helpful owner who went above and beyond to ensure we had the most enjoyable and comfortable stay possible. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Birmingham and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great experience.

A great pub. The beer was kept really well and the landlord was very enthusiastic and proud of his pub. I had a lamb curry off the menu and it was delicious. If you like UB40 this pilgrimage you must make...

Great choice of beers and food, good music and open to requests for more tunes, fantastic friendly family that run it. It has been adopted by me and my colleagues as our local and enjoy letting our hair down in here after work when we can (or at least those of us that have any hair) always enjoy it and turns out to be a great night!

What a nice surprise. I have not drank here in years. To find it has 're-opened with ale on tap was sound. A varied selection of 5 ales on top form.

Went there 30th June on route to see Mamma Mia and dispite the pub being fairly empty it still has an amazing feel to it because of the UB40 connection...to think Red Red Wine was filmed inside it and Many Rivers to Cross ( the labour of love video version) was filmed outside it helps to give that extra bit of magic.Knowing the pub has kept a lot of its orginal fittings and fixtures makes you feel like youve stepped back into it in its 80s heyday..Definatly worth a visit especially if your a UB40 fan....
