A great addiction to mulberry walk Mere Green is the "little desert shop" This is my favourite of all.
I have visited the shop on several occasions with family and friends and have always been made welcome, the staff have always been friendly and helpful. Always ask if everything is ok. It is a great place to get together regardless of age. The decor is stunning and modern, it is bright and spotlessly clean, it has a mezzanine floor for relaxed dining, a downstairs if you find stairs awkward and a beautiful seating area outside an ideal setting for our lovely sunny days.
They offer a superb selection of puddings, cakes,shakes,tea coffee and cold drinks and more. They have a fantastic selection of gelato (ice cream) and if you can't make up your mind a sample is offered to you. The waffles are enormous, with many varieties to choose from as well as making up your own ,very scrumptious and great value for money. I can't believe the negativity when looking at the reviews, my reason for writing my opinion. This is a new shop with young staff, for some, it is their first job, they have probably had training but being placed on the spot can make them anxious, building up any business and creating a good team takes time, sometimes as long as twelve months, let's look at the good points little desert shop has to offer not just the bad. I certainly will be going back I love the place.
Had the sharing special with my girls on Father’s Day for a treat. Amazing place and great service. Thank you David for taking me through the menu today and will be back again to work through the rest of the tempting menu. It does get busy, but that’s a good thing. You definitely need to set some time aside when you go there as it is a nice experience and you feel like a big kid looking at all the different types of cookie dough and bubblegum ice creams. The different seats are pretty funky with the booths and the stunning sofas upstairs. My new fave place in Mere Green. Very classy and prices not too bad compared to Baskin and Robbins and other local restaurants. Would definitely recommend going for main meal in one of the restaurants in Mere Green first and then finish in here. Desserts are big enough to be shared. I know where my next date night is going to be.... :-)
Welcomed by a very pleasant gentleman at the door even though they were very busy. Seated promptly and food came within ten minutes. Kids said it’s their new favourite place and I agree it’s a really fabulous place with quality sweet treats. We will be regular customers.

I’ve been here 3 times now and I love it, staff are so lovely and welcoming, especially David. the new Italian gelatos that they’ve ordered in are amazing. Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend! �
I have visited The Little Dessert shop in mere green a couple of times and enjoyed it on both occasions. A great selection of waffles, sundaes, ice creams and more. The staff were polite and attentive, especially Luke and Natalie, really made sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed. Nice relaxed atmosphere in open plan space, with an upstairs balcony if you preferred abit more private dining.
If you like desserts then this is the place for you! Selling cakes, waffles, crepes, cookie doughs, ice cream sundaes and milkshakes. Many combination options available, something for everyone. Good quality ice cream used as well! Seating both downstairs and upstairs.
Newly opened dessert franchise. Nice and simple interior. Food is not bad, but not the one I would definitely wanna come back again. A little bit overpriced.
Great place for desserts, coffee, milkshakes. Modern with a touch of quality in the decor. Staff very friendly and happy to make recommendations from the menu.
After a number of false starts, Mere Green now has the Shopping Centre it deserves. A new M& S Food Store plus a range of Bars, Coffee Bars and Restaurants to suit all tastes, and most pockets. As I type, there are about five units left, including the large one on the corner - fingers crossed they'll all be taken up. It's now such a pleasure to visit, especially when the sun decides to sun, allowing everyone to enjoy the outside seating.

Visited the dessert shop on Sunday evening with my daughters after being recommended by friends, we were greeted with a lovely welcome from a young Asian girl at the counter who then got us quickly seated by a nice waiter. The desserts we ordered were amazing and the customer service was 100%. Although the staff were very busy attending to a party upstairs the Asian girl made sure we were happy with the food once things settled. Great staff and customer service, we shall definitely be returning.
I visited the little dessert shop store earlier on today with my family and had received the best customer service especially from the supervisor Ellie as, she was very polite and had explained the menu to us with no bother. The other two staff on shift brought our food over to us and had also been very considerate as they came over throughout the duration of us being at the store to ensure that everything was okay. The food was beautifully presented and I will definitely be returning to this store.

I would highly recommend a visit to the little dessert shop Mere Green (Under new management).
We don't really have a dessert place in the area so this is good and convenient for popping round to after a meal or just as a treat. Service was good, wasn't that busy when we went perhaps because it was quite late when we went, the place is open till late which works for our family as we normally do things quite late. Presentation and quality of desserts was really good. Pricing for the area is very reasonable. My daughter loved her unicorn ice cream. We will be back again.
We had afternoon tea here with a lovely difference. Instead of the usual sandwiches and scones we were offered savoury waffles with a choice of toppings, together with pancakes, pastries, cakes and more. The fruit basket was amazing with cream, icecream and chocolate sauce with it. Beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The staff were attentive without getting in the way.

It is a shame the shop is tucked away, please go and look for it. It's worth it.
I visited the dessert shop a while ago and ordered for delivery, not only was I extremely disappointed by the quality of waffle (cold and soggy) but the staff did not seem to be accommodating. Last week however, I happened to walk past th shop with my 2 younger cousins. The experience was the polar opposite. All of our desserts were extremely fresh tasting and service was excellent. Not to forget the young lady- Amina came to check on us and engaged in friendly conversation with my cousin's.
Definitely experienced a drastic change in staffing!
I went to the Little Dessert Shop with my family and it was an amazing experience. They have been taking over recently and all the problems seem to have gone. There is a lady there whose customer service is on point. The staff are very friendly and come over to see you and make sure everything is okay. The 50/50 waffle is absolutely delicious and the tower milkshake is crazy tasty. I certainly will be going back. My aim is too slowly work through the menu.

Friendly staff, incredibly yummy deserts and generous portions - what else can a girl ask for! The place is gorgeous too. Perfect for a bday, get together with girls or a romantic afternoon/evening, or for kids as a great.
We walked in with my toddler who can never sit for more than 30 seconds but surprisingly the staff were extremely pleasant and kept him entertained by offering a couple of samples. Next thing you know we ordered a few deserts sat with our coffees and omg couldn’t get enough!
I can’t wait to go back again for the unicorn cake!
I went with my family to the Little Desert Shop and it was our 1st time going there. The quality of food & drink was excellent and the staff were great and were welcoming and very friendly! The food was absolutely fantastic and the drinks were worth the price (to the standard they were at). I would definitely be going to this luxury desert shop again and I would recommend it to anyone!
Also, the shop is Under New Management and is brilliant!
