The food here is awesome and freshly cooked to point. The staff are very polite and the service they give is also excellent.

The platter was very nice and delicious but the Lamb Karahayi has a little bit unpleasant smell. Otherwise it was nice.

Lovely local Asian restaurant with freshly cooked food.
Nice clean place with separate toilets for male/female and surprisingly clean aswell. Separate seating arrangements for families and men, which is an ideal thing to do. Food is okish too. Some dishes are better then the other. My personal favourite was the mix grill.
Desi food here is honestly the best. Something about the caramelised onions at the bottom of the meat in the mixed grill is so amazing. The karahis are amazing and the portion sizes are relatively generous.

The customer service was amazing with fantastic staff members, from the servers to the Cook's very welcoming me and my family were welcomed like we were part of their family felt good inside.
Now the food we ordered 2 mix grills 2 large fries π and chicken ginger and lamb karahi 5 naan's, the mixed grills was so good forgot to take the pictures ππ the chicken ginger was really good and the lamb was just as good if not a little bit better, you go to some restaurants and the gravy is the same in all their meats but here it was different it was just so good. You need to try this place out they have a family section you will feel very comfortable and relaxed. And top it off the Mango Lassi was the half a cherry π on top of the cake because the Tea and rasmalai that was a banging combination π§¨.

Whenever I am in Birmingham, I make sure I visit this place, specifically, for their chicken karahi with fresh naan. I like their mutton karahi too but the chicken karahi is on another level.
Absolute pleasure whenever we have visited this place for food. Numbers of times we have visited and never failed on their tatse and quality of the food. Kebabs are fire so as the chicken karai. Will be back soon.

We had ordered chicken tikka and fries but too hungry to take a picture of the starters.
The chicken tikka was nice. The fries were surprisingly yummy. We love the sauces they give at this restaurant. The green yoghurt chutney and the red sauce is one to try.
We also ordered chicken boneless handi and it was nice and children enjoyed it. Next time I will definitely try the chicken karahi.
Mango lassi jug was tasty too.

Desi dera is a well established placed from many years which is well known for ther food.They serve awesome currys and mixed grill.There overall food standard is excellent.They got large seating area which is Nice and clean.friendly and reliable staff with great customer service.Good parking area outside as well.All in all I would rate it 5 stars.well recomended....
