Service was a tad slow, but the staff were all very pleasant.
The carvery was well above average for a Toby (not a fan usually), almost every item was well cooked and very tasty. And those Yorkshire puds were HUUUUGE
A large, historic building with plenty of parking and seating. Usual great Toby food, drink and service. Regularly use this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Our table was booked for 12.00 noon but as we arrived early the very pleasant lady in the Restaurant confirmed we could sit in the bar area and have a drink. Service was excellent, the area was clean and the barman was very pleasant. And we watched some of the footie on the big screen!
