This is an arts centre so it has art work on display, shows / plays going on. Has a cinema inside to go watch films.
Theres also a bar and cafe serving warm, cold and alcoholic beverages. Same with the food.
Has disabled accessible entrances, lifts and toilets along with toilets available to the public
I did a Basic Principles of Drawing for Beginners course here with Angela, and it was cracking.
Not only did I learn a lot, it has really helped me to get motivated to draw more.
Angela is very friendly and helpful, and she is great at communicating info in a way that makes it easy to digest. She was also always keen to offer advice and guidance.
It was a very practical course, and we covered a lot of ground in terms of different kinds of drawing, which has helped me work out which I enjoy doing most as well as which things I seem to have more of a knack for than others.
The course was also very relaxing, and it was carried out in a way that enabled us to learn from one another at times too, which was interesting.
I’d highly recommend the course, and think that it’s very good value too.

Truly inspiring performance by Kate Luxmoore and Olalekan Babalola “Sacred Funk of Odu Ifa”
A great visit to Grayson Perry's Art Club exhibition. Well located, easy access with friendly staff. Great Coffee!! A fantastic art resource. Well worth a visit. The exhibition was well curated. Some items very moving and thought provoking, showing the wide range of British cultural talent.
I used the centre to meet up a school friend. We hadn't seen each other for 50 years.
The reason we used the centre was there was no car parking at his house so we met there.
The disabled parking and toilets were fine and we used the cafe for food and drinks.
Good facilities, I would use it again.
A nice well kept arts centre with public toilets and a cafe within. The toilets were clean and a very useful amenity. While we didn't explore the gallery too much it appeared interesting and I would visit again.
Hidden gem of Birmingham. Visited for the cinema but there's so much more on offer at the MAC.

I love how this centre has so many varied activities and events. We always visit when heading to the park and like to browse the latest art exhibitions. They also have a cinema, which shows some unusual movies plus a bar area and cafe. The best thing here is all of the classes and courses. You can book in to so many different things, in the past I’ve done jewellery making and clay sculpture amongst others and always found the courses informative and fun. We also have visited for theatre events both indoors and outdoors too, it’s a lovely hub to explore and they also just craft fairs here too.
An arts space that feels welcoming and fresh! Set on the back of Cannon Hill Park it hosts an array of local and international artists, in its various gallery spaces.
It also hosts live performances such as plays, and screenings of films.
The main gallery upstairs is simply amazing.
It has a gift shop, a bar and a restaurant. Even without visiting the various exhibitions it is a place you can simply meet up with friends for lunch or a drink.
Would definitely recommend.
Ps it is also outside the clean air zone!
We visited to experience the production of Squirrel. This was part of our granddaughter's birthday weekend. She was intrigued by the production and enjoyed taking part. We then had lunch in the restaurant. A lovely family day.
Modern and trendy design. Hope there will be more activities for kids to join with reasonable admission fee.
Nice cinema experience at a reasonable price.
Could do with popcorn but snacks are available from the cafe/kiosk.
Plenty more going on in there but only visited for the movie. Some good art films on the schedule.
I was so happy that the coffee shop was open for the late night showing for The Bangladesh Film Festival. The film was so good and the seats were incredibly comfortable.
Great venue for events, loads of different rooms of different sizes... Great service from the staff, great catering...
