It’s 50 years old British sports pub…. Was there on weekdays .. still a bit of buz there … good place to have quick drinks … family atmosphere… good range of beers available beside spirits … Only drawback was the Whiskey glasses were missing …
I went to the Bears v Essex T20 quarter final and went for a drink prior with friends and enjoyed the atmosphere there, watching some of the Test match that was ongoing, England v Australia. Its always lively on a match day...
Rooms are lovely the service second to none nothing to much trouble the atmosphere was great and to the lovely staff from cleaners to reception thank you all so much for your dedication and help throughout my stay will be coming back and will be recommending this hotel as a great place to stay 👌❤️
Great atmosphere great pint , brilliant bar staff quick friendly polite service, great venue before or after cricket as only across road from Edgbaston cricket ground , would recommend even if cricket not on

A proper pub. Loud, chatty, lots of interaction with both the locals and those who had travelled for the Commonwealth Games. Easy atmosphere and very clean, tables constantly being checked. Enjoy (beer very good lol).
In before Cricket at Edgbaston. Been past many a times before but never been in. Went to meet friends. England on the tele as well.

I love this place ! Walked past so many times after work and though “Ruff “ I been going over 12 months never seem any trouble , made to feel so welcome by staff and customers, full of beautiful people both staff and clientele
I had my wedding party at Edgbaston Tap on 30th July 2016. This is a very nice and warm pub, VIP room comes with a bar and a lovely garden, good idea to have BBQ in summer. This VIP room can easily fill up 60+ people. All of staff are very kind, helped me a lot on preparations like table setting and makes a beautiful Champagne Tower for us.
We feel very sorry didn't help them to clean up the room, they've done it till to 3:00am , all party decoration has been saved for us and all foods has been packaged keep in the fridge, all of plates, glasses, chafing dishes, tongs, which are I heir from catering services has been cleaned up , packaged and ready for them collect back. They calculate all drinks on happy hour rates for whole day for me, this is saved me a lot of money. Highly recommended to everyone who looking to have event party celebration. This pub and all staff gives me and my wife and all our guest a wonderful memories on the day. Thank you very much indeed!
