The Victorian Restaurant - Birmingham - Photo album

Lovely little restaurant. The place to go if you want a nice, quiet meal. The decor is a bit tired and could do with a spruce up, but there are some lovely original features. The service we received was excellent. We would definitely return.
Come for the 19 Century ambience, grab a cup of tea and tea cake and admire.
The Victorian Cafe - very nicely decorated in a authentic Victorian style. Has a nice mix of people here and the customer service was excellent. Really enjoy having breakfast and lunch here whenever I get a chance too. The tuna baguette was delicious, with a portion of crisps and salad. Only thing -
Groupon deal for Sunday Roast. As we're vegetarian, we were given the vegetable pie (Filled with sweetcorn, broccoli, green beans, etc) with gravy, carrots, peas and mashed potato. Also swapped the alcohol in the deal for a soft drink. Good simple food in an interesting setting. Afternoon tea looked
This is a great little hideaway. The decor is as you'd expect for a Victorian tea room with pictures and decorations being from a different time. The menu is basic but tasty and well presented. Everything is served with a smile and the staff appear to get to know their regulars too which is such a n

The food was good, didn't like the lemon meringue pie, but the sandwiches and scones were delicious. The staff are also really friendly and accommodated well to our needs. I would be happy to go back
Sadly now closed and converted into something else. Used to love getting the team at work breakfast every Friday morning ( pre lockdown ) The hash browns and brown toast was to die for! Sadly unable to compete against the modern eateries with their multi million pound backing and subsidies! Shame,
I eat breakfast here each Friday. Excellent value for money, good old fashioned bacon, and toast like door wedges. Only loses a star for the Victorian furniture and plumbing.
This place is amazing honestly Im a very fussy person but the Staff there manage to get my food right every time this is the first review I've ever done and if there was another star I would definitely add it, i make this a must go place the prices are cheap and the staff try to make sure that the c
Great staff, great food. The ambience of the place tòok me back to England as it used to be. Do visit, you will not be disappointed.
We really like this place for a weekend breakfast before shopping. Great food. Not fashionable in any way bit that's a good thing.
The decor was nicely matched to the theme, the food was tasty and very well priced, and the staff were lovely :)
