This Spoons is super busy and one of the two bars deals only with orders made on the Spoons App. There’s not a great choice of guest cask but what there is is fresh and easy to drink.
Really nice Spoons and has that Chinese feel to it which is cool, it is in the Chinese quarter of Birmingham so as you get off train its a stones throw from there, it is a good sized place and even when staff are busy they seem to try and do their best to get everyone served as fast as possible. There were a lot of people moaning about the service and wait for food. I didn't have that problem though? Served at the bar almost as soon as I walked in and the lady who served me was lovely. Food was at our table in about 10 minutes and was good. Would go back again
A busy and lively pub serving good food. A mix of nationalities use the pub.
Great beer served with a smile by the staff.
Also a good outdoor seating area.
Went in at 5 o'clock on a Friday afternoon for something to eat before our gig, and the place was packed solid.

Good place to stop and catch your breath, relax have a beer and something to eat at Spoons prices. Always a good selection of real ales at amazing prices.
Decent spoons in a great location for The Hippodrome. We popped in here for a bite to eat before a pantomime. Food was decent and served quickly and warm enough.
It was really busy, but using the app we got served both food and drink quickly.
Toilets were clean and well looked after.

It's a Wetherspoons with the usual positive and negative points so not too much more to add. We were there on Saturday afternoon and despite being busy it was still pretty easy to get served at the bar so +1 mark for that.
Nice wetherspoons, friendly staff and a good pint of Guinness, sometimes the bar area is very busy but other than that no problems with this bar, overall a enjoyable place to go for a quiet drink or to meet up with friends.. p.s. you'll usually get served faster if you order via the app compared to

The handsome Phil is the most attentive, polite & friendly member of staff that we've met. We'll definitely return just for the level of service he consistently provides, he's a legend! ☺️
A lovely Weatherspoons with the normal great selection of food and drinks. You can order on the app or at the bar. Lot's of seating inside and outside. Food came pretty quickly and was well cooked. We had a seat by the window and was lovely watching the world go past.
