The food was good and the full English breakfast was very delicious. The special lattes are also a hit, I would recommend the Mermaid Latte if you want something eye catching and tasty. The area where this place is situated is absolutely beautiful and the service was also really good. However the only thing which was concerning, from the visit I made recently, was that the decor seems very tired. The menus were dirty, and the walls were also quite dirty. It seemed quite unhygienic.

Location: It’s literally a hidden gem in Birmingham near the canal. It’s quite small but cosy.
Menu: Has breakfast, brunch, desserts (little options), milkshakes and variety of other drinks. Taste nice. In my opinion, everything is reasonably priced considering how they present the food and the place. Had the desserts and it was delicious!
Interior: It has a flower wall and a table with flowers in it with lights (pictures below) which are good photo ops. It also has nice decorations on the ceilings which makes the place feel more welcoming. They also have nice music playing but I sometimes found that it was quite loud and everyone was talking over one another.
Staff: The staff were lovely and were able to recommend what they thought were good.
They offered us a free slice of cake if we posted the food on social media in which we took them up on! Unfortunately did not get a picture of the cake (it was really tasty) but I had the chai cake.
Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting this hidden gem!
Absolutely great food! It looks absolutely fabulous! Taste is amazing, seasoning perfect. I had Greek toast, my friends and gf had pancakes. Presentation is remarkable, food fresh. Drinks took a bit longer but definitely worth to wait. Coffees had perfect temperature! Food took a bit longer as well but trust me, it’s worth to wait. The reviews which complains about slow service better go to McDonald’s if they want something fast. Good job, place definitely worth to visit. I’ll be back soon!
Booked an afternoon tea and the food was terrific! The sanwiches were so original as were the desserts, and it all tasted lovely. Drinks were amazing and the staff was so helpful and polite. Will definitely come back again soon!

It's been four years since I've been to England and alot has changed in this lovely city of Birmingham. My husband introduced me to this delightful tea room, the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. I never though I could eat Belgium waffles without having to take a dairy-pill (recently became lactose intolerant) but they have vegan friendly options and very fancy drinks. Weather you're a resident or a tourist, I highly recommend this place if you like sweet and , surprisingly, savory meals!
Lovely little place just outside the mailbox. I booked the afternoon tea and it was a delight! The scones were warm and fresh and the cakes and sandwiches were an acquired taste but we throughly enjoyed them. The setting is very picturesque which is abit of me. Only thing I would suggest is maybe limit the amount of customers you have in at a time as the place is small and can get cramped and humid! Also the service was quite slow but there was only one person serving at the time so we understood! The custom was lovely and I will definitely be making a return. 🌸🫖☕️🍰🧁💕
Lovely decor, great location by the canal. Pleasant service and went the extra mile to make it special for my mother in law's birthday. Food was lovely, good range of sandwiches and desserts were tasty. Scones came first but we waited to eat them until after our sandwiches. Would highly recommend. The rest of the menu looked good so would definitely come again.
This was an interesting place to visit on our walk along the canal. The place is modest with limited variety - mostly brunch or hi-tea options. The quality and serving size was good, the drinks were great and the place had a cosy atmosphere to it. The avocado toast with chicken should ideally be grilled chicken and not fried, but overall a good experience.
Food tastes as good as it looks. Drinks were lovely. I wanted to try the whole menu. Toilets were broken which wasn't communicated until after we asked and was told to go to the mail box

Surprised with English Afternoon Tea for my birthday and it was amazing!! The platter of sandwiches and cakes etc was all presented beautifully and tasted really good. Highly recommend this place! To surprise and be surprised.
I don't often leave reviews but me and my friends had such a lovely time during our afternoon tea, I just had to. Our experience was topped off with amazing customer service by Hassan (aka Hannibal), he really made our afternoon and gave us a good laugh - much appreciated. The afternoon tea itself was one of the best we've had and we frequently visit different establishments throughout the UK. Highly recommend and would go back to try the rest of the menu.
a very small, pretty place. maybe a bit too small. the food was nice unfortunately i was meant to have garlic bread with my dish but they just gave normal buttered bread. interior is lovely.

Our server Paul was a superstar really welcoming & friendly & although place was busy, he always made sure he didn't forget anyone, or anything, needs a pay rise! Ziania who served us towards the end was lovely also🌟🌟

Food/customer service/presentation was perfect. Came today 3rd time. My friend came 1st time. Both really enjoyed it.only thing I would say the windows need a very good clean. And they need a bigger cocoby ali in bham 🙂
Gorgeous little Café. Arrived just after 11am when they opened (Sunday) and found it only got busier while we were there! (In a good way!!)
The gentleman that served us was polite and timely.
The food was amazing! Super sweet, but if it is what you're looking for in brunch then it is the spot.
