***VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*** It is very rare I give 5 stars for everything, but Alamgir is well deserving of the 5 star 🌟 rating. Their mix grill platter is lovely food on point, lamb chops, chicken tikka, fish there is nothing bad to say about them on all 4 occasions I have been here. The main ro
Went with my parents for a desi breakfast, and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered x3 halwa puri (channa, halwa, x3puri, achaar) at £5.95 each which I thought was very well priced. We also order an aloo paratha. This tasted just as it should. It didn’t come with anything so I asked for yoghurt, which
Nice food, looks good on the inside (decor) though staff was a bit rude when I went in to ask for a table for 3. They asked me where the other 2 are and when I told them they are on the way and will be there in a few min he didn't really like it but luckily still gave me a table. It was far from bei
It was our first time here. The restaurant is cosy with modern decor. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly. The Barbecue starters were cooked to a great taste. We ordered a stake for the kids who liked it. The chicken pasta was a little spicy for our daughter. Nihari and Haleem were e
The restaurant is situated near the corner of Ladypool road, with a car park opposite and more spaces round the back. The front is modern and well lit and the decor inside is modern and very appealing. The furniture in the seating area is of high quality and cutlery is also of good standard. The s
I visited on a weekend. We were seated quite quickly as it was early evening. We were a family of four and a 3 year old. We decided on getting a bunch of starters- lamb chops, chicken tikka, malai boti, sheesh kebabs and poppadoms and fries (we wanted this all together) For mains we went for roti
Wonderful place with family to dine in ,Great taste of fresh food , looks like someone made for us fresh , never had food of this good quality in Birmingham
We ordered chicken butter handi, mixed grill, keema nan, chicken biryani, and rogni nans. Overall food was nice as you expected, staff was helpful... especially their manager. It was quite busy during weekdays. People were queuing for at least 30 minutes or so. There was a small car park on the ro
Nice, traditional and luxurious feeling desi restaurant. Great desi nashta breakfast dishes. Taste is really good. Halal food. Halwa puri, channa, omelette, paya, nihari and haleem etc all available.
Ladies night out a great night. Saw the reviews and lots of people were having a moan about late food and service? Even with the bad reviews we gave it a chance. And to our amazement great service and the food was lovely. I will recommend you try this place out.
Overall enjoyed the food, everything was good and tasty, only the portion of Maghaz was too small hardly one person can eat and the high price too considering the portion and tea could be better. Prices bit high.
Ma-Sha-Allah fantastic Lakshmi Chowk Lamb Karachi dish, excellent service and the flaming meat chops were tasty as well. Would definitely recommend
We went for a late lunch and the place was bustling which is always a great sign. The lanb karahi on the bone was the best we have tasted. It was real lamb and fluffy soft. No overpowering tomato paste like other places. Can not wait to test the rest of the menu in future. Medium was spicy enough fo
The main dishes and naan etc were really yummy, but unfortunately the dessert was not good.
Excellent and above my expectations especially when the place is fairly new. I must say that Laxmi chowk lamb karahi stood out. The best I have had so far in Birmingham in years. Grill platter for two has good portions. My favourites on this platter were lamb seekh kebab and lamb chops. While you
