Can’t go wrong with Pepe’s. Always consistent. Chicken always cooked well.
The ‘hot’ flavour isn’t too hot so if you enjoy really spicy chicken, go higher than hot.
Chicken has never been too charred. Fries are nice as well.
Only downside is the price. A lot more expensive than non franchise peri

Pepe's is my go-to for well cooked chicken and wings. It's better than most of the overhyped fast food chains.
If you want a nice filling meal, get the half chicken large meal. If you're in a group, go for their family deals. They however do charge 50p if you want chicken legs only.
For the flavours
Food arrived pretty quickly considering we ordered 6 meals. Everyone enjoyed it we got a mixture of things ranging from a veggie burger, paneer buritto to peri peri chicken burger and kids meals.
Everything was to good standards, the place was clean too. Only downside was that the toilets were close
My food was so good. I brought a spicy wrap meal it was literally done to perfection. My friend had half chicken, and he said his food was delicious too the fries were also up there. I will be going back there soon. Reasonabley priced, definitely recommend 👌
I tried chicken and rice (hot flavor) with meal deal (piri piri fries). If I will say that they have the best rice in England, it won't be wrong. Just popped down there a couple of days ago. Food was fresh and delicious and arrived quick. Customer service was top tier. One staff member who stood out was Awais. He stood out as he showed great customer service and was quite funny and talkative. Will come down again.
Regular here for lunches. Always busy and can sometimes struggle to find seating... food quality is always good and served relatively quickly. Only downside is the price... have to pay extra for cheese on burger or powder on fries when prices aren’t the cheapest already. Because of that and busyness

This place is great. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is laid back and calm. You can tell that their top concern is keeping customers satisfied. The food is quite wonderful, and I highly recommend it.
First time popping down to this Pepes branch in the city centre. Food was amazing would recommend it to others. Was happily served by a top lad Awais who was a superstar. Appreciated the wonderful experience, hopefully I’ll be back soon.
