Lovely staff who served me. Fish really good but batter is not crispy enough- enjoyable. Chips really good and mixed meat was also excellent. Curry sauce as expected delicious. Would certainly go back again.
Best masala fish I ever had! One of my favourite places.. Very friendly staff. I would recommend this to everyone who doesn’t like to have greasy chips then this place for you. They make fresh nan which is good and feel very light.

The food is okay but it's overpriced. As well as the owner who does the home deliverys, only one other member of staff. It can be a long wait.
The fish and chip shop has served the cinema across the rd and the kings Highway pub that tas long gone. It's been some time since we used it till Easter. I have to say food got 5 service was slowish but have know worse in chip shops. As the price of everything is on the rise the classic fish chip

I am new to the area and like (love) my chips. I can say with all honesty the chips at The Classic Fryer are the best I have ever had. The owners are very friendly and they cook the chips fresh and to perfection, so there is no chance of a bad batch. Would highly recommend this place to anybody.
Good food combined with friendly staff. Good size portions of chips for your money. They also do deliveries which is a first for this chip shop as I've used this chippy for 20 years and when the new owners took over they introduced a delivery service.
We always have fish and chips from the Classic Fryer on a Friday night. The cod is consistently tasty and the batter very crispy. The food is always cooked fresh. Best chippy around and the owners are lovely. 😋😋
Great food and fish is usually freshly cooked. Your order is prepared how you ask for it and it is consistently good. Customer services is great and staff friendly. Best chip shop in the area.
Very nice chips and delivered hot. My wife loves the onion rings and my daughter the southern fried chicken wings.
