Nima Delicatessen - Birmingham - Photo album

This was by far my favourite shop in the whole of Birmingham, especially for food. Utterly unique, it had an astonishing range of items from around the world, including a significant range for vegetarians and vegans. I found the couple that ran the shop charming and helpful. Hamid and Ziba ran a wonderful deli with health foods and national cuisines from many cultures. It was a delight to visit and stock your pantry with something unique for a rainy day or less common foods such as gluten free. Situated in a prominent spot across from a Sainsbury Local in Moseley Village, you will find a gourmet’s delight in the form of ‘Nima Delicatessen’. If you are a connoisseur and appreciate cosmopolitan food from around the world, you are going to love this shop. Chocolate from Belgium/Switzerland,
Great variety of foods which you can't just pop to Sainbury's for. Good vegetarian/vegan selection. I love popping in when I'm passing to get a pot of olives or some cannoli (god I hope my husband doesn't read this). The gentleman who runs this little shop is very knowledgeable and helpful although
Nima's has been in Moseley as far back as I can remember and I've been in and around Moseley for over 35 years. Nima's stock is wonderful and you'll often come away with more produce than you went in for because they have so many interesting and delicious items in there.
A small independent delicatessen that has a fantastic wide range of quality food. A good place to search out for those 'difficult to find ingredients' – particularly for European/North African/Middle Eastern, etc. cooking ingredients.
Amazing shop, all my hard-to-find culinary items in one place. Friendly and helpful owners, lovely shop and carefully chosen quality stock. Great store for all keen cooks!
Fantastic range of foods from around the world. Also lots of specialist vegetarian, vegan and gluten free foods. More different types of pasta than I have ever seen.
A Moseley institution, stocks a wide range of international foods and specialist ingredients. Top quality produce.
A bit on the expensive side, though having said that, you pay for good quality. A wide range of organic products from a myriad of different countries.
Man in the shop was friendly and polite. An interesting variety of products which you may find hard to find elsewhere.
Nice little place. Not a charcuterie but a deli.
Love this little shop, owners are so friendly and helpful.
