While I've not eaten here before, I've been here for drinks a number of times and find it's a great place in Birmingham to go to. Especially as I never find it too crowded or too empty, it's a great balance.
The bar staff can be a little forward, overly-friendly if you will, which can be a bit uncomfortable but they mean well usually.
It's a great area just far enough from the city centre that it's not completely crowded but also not too far that it's a hassle to get to.

Very nice venue and atmosphere. The toilets ran out of toilet roll which is bad when it was a busy night. We watched a great selection of songs by Carl sinclair and Harry Weston. First time there and impressed at the decor. Would have liked to see a picture showing previous use in history as a jewellery shop.

Very stylish place. Some elegance, but incorporating elements of how it was in the past. Look at the brown ceilings. Great range of beers. Good service. Went to hear band. Steve Ajao Blues Giants. Was great.

What a cracking pub! Had my 50th here end of January. Kate, the Manager is lovely and very helpful. Buffet food was very reasonably priced and there was a lot of it! Kate even reserved an area of the pub for about 30 people. I really can't fault this place and the Live music (it was a Friday) was fantastic. Good sound, not too loud, so you can still have a natter with your mates! Thank you Kate. Everybody enjoyed themselves and this was the perfect venue!

Dancefloor packed on weekends, you'd have to wait a while to be staffed. Doormen are always on point. Outdoor smoking shelter is a good spot to meet randoms. I would reconmend a friendship group hangout spot vibe going on. Finished work hang out with colleagues is often a reason to be located not too far from the city but far enough to breathe easy.

Went to watch sound of the sirens great gig nice venue. I do have one gripe aboit the noise from the band and music from the lower room. Might be best to check that nothing is on to fully enjoy a gig.

The best place in the area to just grab a drink rather than the other food based places nearby.
