No frills, functional indian restaurant with very tasty food, very cheap and affordable but tasty to the lecvel you will get in India, their Alu Paratahas are excellent as well. If you are someone who can ignore the deco, this is proper Indian food, one of the best cheap and cheerful real indian food in the UK
A Typical Indian Restaurant with Indian sweets, vegetable dishes and snacks. Soho Road in Birmingham is called mini India and for a reason. This small eatery is located very close to Gurudwara on Soho Road and it looks like an old delhi restaurant. They serve delicious samosas, chola bhatura, stuffed paranthas, rajma chawal etc. all mouth watering north indian/punjabi dishes. They don't have much space however it's better for take away. I got chole bhature, samosas and spring rolls packed and loved everything. Prices are on a cheaper side which is definitely another plus. All Indian sweets from Jalebi to Ras Malayi and Baloo Shahi to Laddoo are available here.
Great food, I wouldn’t say they serve the best samosa or spring rolls on soho rd. cholle bhature are absolutely lovely, I recommend. The tea is also nice. Slow service and had to keep asking for things like plates, cutlery etc.
Absolutely delicious, authentic, typical Indian food. Its a simple sweet/food shop, very busy, with lot of various dishes available.
Million times better than any restaurants in UK.
Strongly recommended and would definitely visit again every time I go to Birmingham.
Could do a bit better if they get an assistant in the front as they are extremely busy.
Incredibly tasty home cooked style food. Sangams has always served a mouthwatering treat, have enjoyed the food in store, externally catered and take out. Great customer service, always willing to go the extra step creating a strong relationship to understand their customers needs especially when catering for external events.
Personal favourites are the double fry paneer pakoreh and the milk cake. Definitely recommend giving the samosas a try too.
I buy jalebi from here on a regular basis & I can honestly say its the best tasting jalebi, always fresh & always the same great taste.
Nice Indian restaurant on busy street full of Indian savouries. Everything what we had is ver tasty. I’ll go again.
Amazing Parata’s 😋 Iansolutely love the curries too. Only bad is that you got wait toooo long for the parata’s; worth the wait 👍
Placed a large order for fresh samosas and various snacks including fresh matia on a Saturday and picked up on the Monday. They were made very well, fresh and so tasty. Thank you again, the best place in Birmingham! 😊
Very good for Indian snacks and sweets. Around 12 to 16 people can sit in for dining in. Many Indian vegetable dishes are available with close to homemade taste. Also, good place for tiffins takeaway. I am not giving full stars because sometimes you have to wait longer for your order due to busy times. Overall, good quality food, good hygienic rating and not much costly.
AMAZING, ONLY IN 5 POUNDS ROTIS OF GOOD SIZE, 2 VEGETABLES( FROM 10 IN TOTAL,CUSTOMER CAN SELECT A) CURD RAITA AND MITHAI...INCREDIBLE TASTE. CHEAP PRICE BUT NOT COMPROMISE IN QUALITY.
A welcoming and popular restaurant on a busy road, both my first visits were a pleasant surprise,
The multiple male staff are friendly and quick to serve, i was in a queue but staff quickly served everyone,
They serve Vegetarian food & Indian sweets, for Eat-In or Takeaway,
My fav is Samosa Chaat which is served with salad and sauces, i also enjoyed Daal Kachori, Alu Tiki & Long Peppers deep fried in tasty paste.

took palak paneer as take away was delicious
