We had a 2 night stay and had a very good bar meal before going to the theatre.

Excellent stay here! Gorgeous hotel, that has some beautiful older features. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room clean and comfy. Location is excellent as right by the train station and shops. A delicious vegan breakfast! Great value for money, would recommend.
The location here is just superb for quick visit to the city, work or pleasure. The decor itself is a bit dated and the history of the building is overwhelmed by not always appropriate decor. But the staff were lovely especially those we dealt with in the Dining Room. It was a quiet night in
Stayed here for a business conference that was also held here. Rooms were lovely, but view from the window can be hit and miss. The rooms did carry sound quite a bit, but given the age of the building it's to be expected. In the lottery draw of rooms I got a double which was a tight fit in the room
A very comfortable stay. Room was near perfect (just the window was not sealed shut enough so street sounds were audible).
I would definitely book again but request a room not on the street. But apart from that, the staff were lovely and helpful.
Bed was lovely
I like the ambience of this hotel and the beds are comfortable and the shower was great. We were upgraded to a suite so had plenty of space. Would have given it a 5 but it was a bit cold in the room. It is an older hotel and it was a very cold night. We were plenty warm enough in bed thankfully.
A brilliant and luxury hotel right in the center of Birmingham! I was so impressed with the decor of the hotel and how friendly all the staff were. The food and drinks available were amazing and the rooms were great. Will definitely be staying again!
Location is perfect for all the local restaurants, eateries and shopping. And it's only about a two minute walk from New street station. Very convenient!
I upgrades my room which was huge with a superking size bed and a rainfall shower. My friends double had a bath and a fridge and we had the usual
It’s a great location for sure - I stepped off the train after a long journey and only a couple of minutes away from checking in… My only observation was that the shower screen made it difficult to get in, and the ironing board was a bit grubby. Overall, pretty good.
Ideal city centre location, perfect for leisure/shopping/concerts and access from the railway station. Receptionists were pleasant. Room was clean but no window view due to ongoing exterior work. Outside noise on a Saturday night was tolerable compared to the constant hum and whir of the ventilation
