We came here with less than high expectations after all it's a family business so we said and we left having a fabulous lunch. We hadn't booked but were greeted warmly and easily found a table for us as wasn’t busy at all. We had great service with an attentive waiter, and the food was excellent - a varied menu with lots of traditional Italian charm. The food was excellently cooked and the service was very good. The staff was very polite and professional. Good choice on the menu and the place was clean with good ambience. Would highly recommend!
we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome, the food was lovely, really nice 👍 we had a laugh with the staff and even got a bit of entertainment from one of them who sang and played the guitar. It was our first time to Birmingham and with so many places to eat it’s nice to find a family run business.
Exceptional staff great food very authentic.
My only criticism is the lighting is too bright.
This restraunt is a must if you want genuine italian food and not the "boil in the bag " rubbish that the chains spoon feed the population.
Guys something wrong with ghost1star reviews. The staff here could not be friendlier, food totally family authentic the wine list stellar..try the Appasionatomente they have got to have miss priced this wine. I have eaten here several times and never been disappointed like other reviews I brought 50 staff and clients for a celebration all ordered different dishes but every one enjoyed with my clients now putting it on their go to resturant list.my only fear is they get too popular and I won't get my "table for one" during the week. Try the monkfish..brilliant!
I've already wrote a review on TripAdvisor, but I organised our Christmas lunch for the office (38 of us). It was an excellent meal, loved the food, service was great, never felt like I was hanging around waiting for the next course (obv. there was a slight interlude in between giving us time to chat to our colleagues). Everyone enjoyed their food, we were stuffed at the end and it was a lovely experience. Bill got sorted quickly after meal finished. Staff were funny and pleasant people. Don't have any complaints, out of all the Christmas meals I've organised for the office, this was the best one! Hopefully be visiting again soon for a meal with friends or family.

Ate there when passing through the Mailbox. Was stunned to find they had only opened that week! The only thing to match the excellent service was the food. Excellent and will now be my Italian of choice when in Brum 5*
