I have visited Snobs a few times recently after a long hiatus and I have had a fantastic time! I used to frequent the old nightclub all the time and my relationship with it was always love/hate. After it moved to it's current location I went a handful of times and neither impressed nor underwhelmed.
In my opinion it has stepped up its game since then and I am a fan of the new building as a club (I cannot get my head around the sports bar foolery at the front but the nightclub is good!) It's spacious and well laid out, numerous rooms with a lot better music than before. I have only been on a Saturday and the nights vary throughout the week but I danced my little tits off! The crowd was good and very mixed unlike the normal pre pubescent Snobs stereotype.
I had pretty much given up on it all together before but I would definitely go again as it was a bloody good time. It is still a bit of a dive even though it's a relatively new building, but that is the feel of the place. If you want class and finery then I suggest you bugger off elsewhere. Perhaps for me it is just a nostalgia thing but it's a yes from me!
My favourite nightclub ever. Empty on a Friday night but great on a Saturday and probably still good on a Wednesday. Only go on Thursday if you want a mainstream student night rather than normal alternative snobs goodness.
We came to Birmingham for a weekend getaway and my girlfriend lost her ticket for the cloakroom in the club.
When we informed the cloakroom attendant they told us that there was too many clothes and to come back tomorrow at opening time. When we arrived at opening we was greeted by a lovely gentleman called Nathan who looked multiple times in the cloakroom to find the jacket without the ticket. He came back and forth and showed us if any of the jackets was ours.
We thank Nathan for his help I hope management sees this.
It was good, but I was by myself and I got kicked at the behest of the friend of a girl I was dancing with (after having a nice chat). I liked the different vibes on the different floors.
so trashy but always my favourite night out in brum<333 new snobs did not dissapoint, also special mention to my fave photographer jonothan love u babe x
Stopped in for a couple of Beers in December 2023. Bar staff were super friendly and really quick to serve. Comfy booths and clean.
Fish and chips on fish Friday was phenomenal. They have loads of offers through out the week. Friendly staff and I’ll definitely be returning! Thanks snobs bar and grill.
Also enjoy the club very much.
2 under one roof what more could you want!
One of the managers here is so lovely and wanted to thank her again for dealing with a situation my friend was in with a bit of a creepy guy the other week. She even remembered us from previous nights out and without us having to ask gave me a cup with a lid and my bf his drink with no ice. Later on in the night we came up to the bar and she came over to us to double check that me and my friend were okay. It definitely made us feel a lot safer than in other clubs in birmingham.
Served by Nathan. Amazing service, really friendly guy. 100% recommend
Awesome club for indie music fun times. Regularly travel up from South London to Brum to have a night out here. Wednesdays are best but Fridays and Saturdays pretty good too. I love the main dance floor but with two other rooms other music tastes are cater for too so works well for a group with different tastes. Drinks not bad value either
Was a lovely night out with quite cheap entry. Not sure about drink prices as we didn’t buy anything there
Decided to go on a spontaneous night out and had a blast, there’s three completely separate rooms with different styles of music and different aesthetics (ones more a mosh pit, another a dance floor, and the third a penthouse rave) so that made it easier to wander when I didn’t like certain songs or had a fancy for a particular type.
Wasn’t extremely packed that night (Friday) which was surprisingly considering it was a bank holiday - but that’s more thanks to the size of the rooms and the fact there’s multiple - deffo not empty by any regard.
100% a recommendation, I’d suggest Snobs over any nightclub on Broad Street
