Amazing place to have a drink, The Fighting Cocks is a traditional English Pub in beautiful Moseley, which is famous for its pubs. It's an old fashioned cosy place with a lovely Beer Garden.

Went there yesterday night with couple of friends after indulging in some heavy Indian food @ Tipu Sultan Majestic for a quick pint of beer and I really loved the place.

Staff is alright, service is quick and drinks are good specially their craft beers, I tried a Cornish Lager "Korev" while my friends went for tried and tested "Guiness". For the second round we were asked to try their famous Strawberry beer, and we must say it didn't disappoint. Dry, fruity and lightly spiced, it was Fizzy and Refreshing.

We didn't eat anything there as we were already more than full, but as they say there is a separate corner reserved for beer in a man's stomach ;)

To sum it up you won't regret going there for a drink.

You feel the old traditional breweries when you first enter in the pub. Witb its original and simple design, it is one of the most beautiful place that i have been to.
I am giving full stars for its design and concept.

Possibly the best fish and chips in Birmingham? Very fresh, excellent beer batter, great chips. Service can be a bit slow at times, but the beer's great and the staff friendly. And the spacious Arts and Crafts style interior is a comfortable, atmospheric place to hang out in

I visited here a few days ago (I wanted to as I’m an aspiring writer and this very pub is referenced in a couple of my books) and was so impressed by the very cozy atmosphere, the food and how friendly the barman/landlord was. It’s in a lovely old building with a clock tower. Would recommend to anyone.

Overall, we thought this was a lovely place to have a Sunday roast for the family. We each ordered something different but felt the sharing platter was the most value. I had the beef roast but was a bit disappointed that I had only 2 small slices of beef, however the Yorkshire pudding was generously sized even if it were a bit overcooked. Our roast potatoes weren't crispy but they still tasted nice. The roast root veggies were done nicely and cabbage was a nice a touch. The gravy/jus could be a bit richer but thought it was just the right amount. The chicken was the best out of the lot, very well cooked and seasoned and generous. The pork belly was delicious and our second favourite. The steak and chips could do with some substantial greens other than a watercress garnish like peas or green beans or broccoli to make it a complete meal. The service was good and the staff very attentive. The atmosphere was also lovely to eat in. We generally enjoyed our lunch and would recommend it to others on a 7/10 score.

Really good Birmingham pub, nice atmosphere (families in for Sunday lunch). The staff were fab and the food was excellent. Improvement points, maybe a bigger selection of deserts? We asked for more gravy but that wasn't a problem, you just got us more gravy. No, it was excellent - I will come back for sure.

Amazing. Scotch eggs. Best I have ever had. Made fresh and the eggs were runny and cooked to perfection! Just LOOK at my photos - they tell the whole story!!!

Heard it was highly rated for Sunday Roast so a group of us decided to give it a go. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and most found some room to squeeze in dessert, which were also really good! Definitely worth the small wait for our food.

We visit for the quiz most weeks, Demi is great and we can always rely on her to lift us up on a Monday! Atmosphere and decor is perfect very pub like but more of a modern feel. We do sometimes have food and it is always great, although quite expensive compared to other similar places. The roast dinner is highly recommended!

I hadn't been to this beautiful place in absolutely years, but it was like returning to somewhere that felt like a familiar pair of slippers. The gentleman who served us (Paul) is a total credit to this establishment. He's witty, funny, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. I can't wait to return here. I Love this place all over again ❤️

We really enjoyed our visit for Sunday lunch. The drinks were really nice and the roast dinner was superb! The staff were super friendly and attentive. I would have given a 5 star, but the desert took 45 minutes to arrive. I ordered via the app. A function to give a wait time when the kitchen is overwhelmed would be appropriate. I would be unlikely to use the app again in my next visit.
