I visited here a few days ago (I wanted to as I’m an aspiring writer and this very pub is referenced in a couple of my books) and was so impressed by the very cozy atmosphere, the food and how friendly the barman/landlord was. It’s in a lovely old building with a clock tower.

Overall, we thought this was a lovely place to have a Sunday roast for the family. We each ordered something different but felt the sharing platter was the most value. I had the beef roast but was a bit disappointed that I had only 2 small slices of beef, however the Yorkshire pudding was generously
Really good Birmingham pub, nice atmosphere (families in for Sunday lunch). The staff were fab and the food was excellent. Improvement points, maybe a bigger selection of deserts? We asked for more gravy but that wasn't a problem, you just got us more gravy. No, it was excellent - I will come back

Heard it was highly rated for Sunday Roast so a group of us decided to give it a go. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and most found some room to squeeze in dessert, which were also really good! Definitely worth the small wait for our food.
