Wetherspoons #111 visited. A very long and narrow pub, situated on the Eastern side of the City Centre. One of six on the City Centre. The pub was very busy when I visited. Didn't stop for food on this occasion, as had breakfast in another branch earlier on. Therefore can't comment on food quality or service. Had a pint of Salopian Brewery Lemon Dream Beer. Was in good condition for the price of £2.74.

Very busy pub, and I'm lucky to have found a seat. Recently updated. Had chicken strips, which were nice and crispy. There were not many chips. Had a refillable coffee, which you serve yourself. Had a latte, and it was not very nice. Very strong and bitter, I think the machine needs checking.

If you like the food at wetherspoons the good part is it tastes the same in all their franchises. Most affordable beers. Its my go to place for fish and chips and grill chicken. But I would say everything there tastes good. Well maintain quality food round the country.

We ate here twice recently while in Birmingham, food was very quick, hot and fresh only slight let down were old onion rings on the 1st visit. Second time they were fresh. Overall really enjoyed it. It does attract some odd types, more so than a normal spoons I guess because of location.

It's impossible to talk about Birmingham's traditional pubs without mentioning the Square Peg, a true Brummie classic where you meet all types of people from all different social levels. We arrived for a quick visit to Birmingham on Saturday morning, hungry, we chose the Square Peg for breakfast, it was completely packed, we ordered via the app and the food arrived quickly and hot at our table. For those who don't know it yet, it's worth immersing yourself in Birmingham's culture by having a drink and enjoying delicious dishes in the purest English style.

We visited yesterday for a bite to eat and warm from the weather, it's a whetherspoons so you know what you're getting food and drink wise, reasonable quality and good prices. The place was packed to heaving with people waiting for tables, mostly families and shoppers, although there being a match on we saw only a few football fans. Despite how busy it was the food was out in fairly good time and we never had to wait long for drinks either at the bar or table service. We only noticed one doorman (who had his badge reversed in its sleeve, I've seen this done before elsewhere when it's been out of date) despite having two entrances. Unlike the majority of whetherspoons I've visited there's no stairs to access the toilets, the "accessible"/ baby changing toilet required a radar key with a notice to ask at bar if you don't have one. Saw bar-staff open up several times, with no-one needing to wait long. Great pub and atmosphere, definitely recommend.

Had a nice breakfast ,had to change the cup (for all day coffee) as it wasn't clean, food could have been served hotter, but everything else was OK... We like wetherspoons pubs, always interesting buildings.. Also love the menu...

This is a really nice wetherspoons set on a corner plot on the main tram rail route so set in a good location not far from the main Train station too. The Spoons itself is all on one level and is a fairly long building with plenty of seating inside. There are the usual gamblers inside that most Spoons have but unfortunately I could only see the 1 tv screen but it's a fair size and well we don't normally go to a Spoons to watch TV lol. The entire building is all windows so very open and light and just really enjoyed my time there. The food menu is good with fair prices for Birmingham and the drinks are also a good price considering what normal pubs can charge so if you are looking for a meet up with friends with cheap food prices and good drinks prices then this is a good Spoons to go to..

Very nice n secure place. In evening bit busy otherwise will get place easily. Food n service is really nice. Anyone can sit inside if not feel safe.

Really busy around 2pm, but we managed to find a table where it was a little quieter. Our food arrived really quickly. One of the hot drink machines was out of milk but otherwise my friend I enjoyed our food and time together.

Some good memories in this spoons. Good spoons, so you can't really go wrong. Attend as a football fan on home and away games, and as a student. Longest bar in the country. Ideal any time of the day, depending on your plans. Can get busy at peak times. Cheap, as you'd expect, and pints are pleasantly good. Food also decent enough - lunch and dinner. 5 min walk from New Street.
