Staff are attentive and awesome. Food is delicious and always piping hot. Best quality eat in Chinese in the area. Better to go when they offer the buffet as that is the best value for money. Order as much and as many times from the menu and the only additional charge is if you order more than you can eat, which is economical and saves waste.

Been three times and never had anything but excellent food, I would have to say that the drinks are a little expensive but the staff and food are fab.

So I ordered without reading the last review, had I, I probably wouldn't have but we had crispy lemon chicken, sweet & sour king prawn balls and special curry and egg fried rice and it was under £30 there within 30 mins. Nice driver food delicious 🙏🙏🙏🙏

The delivery driver was friendly and promptly called when he arrived at my accommodation block so I could go down to meet him.
Amazing food with amazing owners, such a nice place to eat, really felt welcomed, highly recommended if you're in the area.
Amazing food lovely staff and top service, my only gripe was the kids wanted some chop sticks to take home, After two of the kids had been using them, They was told they can't take them home but can each have a new pair at £1 each i found this very strange & is this common practice:-0

When reviewing a restaurant, it's good to start with the food, but for Johnny Wong's I need to start with the service.
From the moment you arrive, the service is impeccable, welcoming and makes you feel like part of the family.
The staff are extremely accommodating to dietary requirements and no request is too large.
Many Chinese restaurants I've visited have dismissive staff and an out the door quick policy, this is not true of Johnny Wong's. Even after I'd finished my meal, the staff came back to ask if I was OK and did not rush to bring the cheque, which is great as I wanted to relax a while.
The food is quite simple perfect. I've never had food arrive so hot to my table. Everything from the soup to the curry and rice were cooked perfectly and served at a great temperature. The chicken was soft and tasty and the rice was not hard at all, the flavours were well balanced and there was no feeling of too much oil which is often the case with many Chinese meals.
All in all a great experience with attentive service and excellent food. I'll certainly be returning when I'm next in the area and fancy a sit down meal.

We went to Johnny wong"s for my sons birthday and we had a great time, as soon we walked in the customer service was great we were made to feel very welcoming, Wendy you were fantastic very friendly and we all chatted as if we were long lost friends, the food was good, this is such a relaxed place we were not rushed at all. Food that was left over, we were able to take home which was awesome for the following day

We had the buffet menu everything is cooked fresh and you can order as many dishes as you can eat. The portions are generous and we asked for smaller portions of rice and noodles so we could try a couple of different dishes.
Overall food great. Restraunt very nice. Staff very friendly. All at a very reasonable price for freshly cooked food. We will be returning again.

Great food and good service. The all you can eat menu is a great idea, rather than just buffet food sat in trays under hot lamps you order the meal you want and they bring it out. Then if you want more you order another meal. Great if you go as a group as you can just order a selection. Drinks did seem a little on the pricy side but the value for the main offset it. Will be returning at some point.
