We've been coming to The Dog for a few years and it has recently had a refurb which is very nice. We came on a Friday at around 5pm without a booking. The place was busy so would recommend booking in advance. We managed to get a table after about an hour by chance. Great value food - vegetarian burg

Been here over the past decade ,with friends and on my own, I can say Frank, Ian,Luke ,Andi and many more I cannot remember names of have been lovely and well done to the manager Sam. The Dog looks lovely and is so cosy after the recent refurbishment. The food was great and have some good deals on. Sam was really accommodating and friendly and made sure our fire didn’t go out lol! Will definitely be coming back more often! X
Fabulous food. Very accommodating staff go the extra mile. Sam is a very good manager who leads a very committed staff well to ensure guests have the best experience possible
We didn't particularly plan on coming here but couldn't be bothered to cook one evening. The menu is varied, has suitable options for vegetarians and the children's menu was suitable for all the awkward/picky eaters out there. We ate off the set menu and it was very good value for money. £15 for 3 c
