Was almost put off by the mixed reviews but we went because it was close and we wanted pub food in a family-friendly pub...
The food turned out to be really very good and the drinks were a good price. The staff were very friendly and nice and the food came quickly.

Nice friendly atmosphere. Seen and heard the the sizzling food on another customers table.I had a lovely sizzling chicken rice and salad. Hot and very tasty and delicious Thank you to the chef Nigel. Pub very clean and tidy. Will definitely call again chef.
Arrived to sticky menus and was not impressed until food arrived. We had burgers which were big and juicy, nicest pub burgera weve had in ages. Deserts were chocolaty and plentiful. Staff were helpful and friendly and pub atmosphere was good. For standard pub chain it was better than others. Sticky
Great food at reasonable prices. It's a little worn down inside but the food was great & staff were friendly & helpful the American platter was great. Plenty to keep children busy till food arrives with games. A good no frills lunch.

Stopped by after a hard shift, was pleasantly surprised when I found a sofa 😁 it had a good overall feel to the place. I will be back in the future should I be in the area.
Went with my son the food was good the only small grip was the BIG chips and not frys that said we had a good evenin out 😊
